UTAR Convocation –

Checklist for Graduands Non-Attending Convocation

Step 1:

Complete and return the ‘Graduation Non-Attendance’ form to the address stated.

(UTAR convocation website, www.utar.edu.my/utarconvo, -> Information for Graduands -> Forms

-> Graduation Non-Attendance) (Deadline: 10.07.2018)

Step 2: Log on to Alumni Portal

(https://portal.utar.edu.my/loginPage.jsp?catid=00&portalType=alumniIntranet)

Online Verification of Testimonial and Request for Rectification of Testimonial (without charges)

(From 26.06.2018 to 10.07.2018)

Printing of Testimonial by graduates (From 26.06.2018 to 31.10.2018)

Online UTAR Survey: Complete the UTAR Survey form and print out the survey slip.

Step 3: Log on to MOHE website: http://graduan.mohe.gov.my/SKPG1/Default.aspx

Complete the survey form for Tracer Study and print out the survey slip.

Step 4: Payment of convocation non-attending fees

Please proceed to Department of Alumni Relations & Placement office to acquire the Pro-Forma

invoice before making payment at any UTAR Division of Finance office (Please disregard the Pro-Forma

Student Bill issued in UTAR Portal).

Step 5: Collection of Souvenir Items (T-shirt, Car Sticker & Convocation Book)

(From 16.08.2018 to 31.10.2018)

ONLY can be collected at Sungai Long Campus, Department of Alumni Relations and Placement

(DARP) office. Please bring along the following documents:

Collection by Graduands

Receipt of Convocation Non-Attending Fees

Printed both Survey Slips: Tracer Study & UTAR Survey

Collection by an Authorized Agent

Completed Letter of Authorization for the Collection of Convocation Souvenir Items, Certificate and Academic Transcript;

A photocopy of the graduate's NRIC;

A photocopy of his/her agent's NRIC;

Receipt of Convocation Non-Attending Fees

Printed both Survey Slips: Tracer Study & UTAR Survey

Step 6: Collection of Degree Certificate and Academic Transcript (From 16.08.2018 onwards)

ONLY can be collected at Sungai Long Campus, Division of Examinations, Awards and

Scholarships (DEAS) office.

Congratulations! You are done.
