• Front end of archiving program

• Educates, advises and stores to prevent illegal destruction

• Provides secure and documented destruction for items not of archival value

• Channels items or archival value to archives• ….so, it’s all automatic…

• Still must educate, solicit, and grab with scholarly intent from offices and donors to develop archive

• Beyond state mandated items must work to collect fun stuff that shows life at UGA – photos, posters, diaries, scrapbooks, lithographs, painted gourds, etc.
