UNIVERSITY INTERNATIONAL CLUB - SPRING PROGRAMME 20182

WELCOME TO THE UNIVERSITY INTERNATIONAL CLUB - UIC As spring sets in, the days will gradually get lighter and allow us to enjoy this beautiful sea-son with its new life, warmer weather, and flowers and trees coming into leaf. At the UIC we give our best to make spring 2018 a wonderful time for all who are residing in Aarhus. We would like to welcome our international staff at Aarhus University as well as their families and friends to join the UIC on a regular basis, or as often as you wish. Also, Danes and all connected with International Community are welcome to participate in the UIC activities. The programme this spring presents several interesting events organised by the UIC. We are pleased to offer various events and seminars, some HR related, others with focus on cultural aspects of the Danish society. We organise cultural activities in the form of lan-guage exchange where you will be matched with a language partner, as well as a weekly international Playgroup at Dokk1 for parents and their children. Additionally, we welcome all to participate in the informal UIC Coffee Club and UIC Nights’ Out, which provides you with the opportunity to get to know your fellow internationals and Danes. All event details will be available on our website www.au.dk/uic. It is an excellent idea to sign up for our Monday email and Thursday UIC Newsletter to keep up with changes. In addition to details about the UIC events, the newsletter comes packed with information about what is on at Aarhus University, and in the greater Aarhus area.

The UIC aims to encourage integration into the university and city. The UIC has been assist- Gitte Haahr-Andersen UIC Organiser

We look very much forward to seeing you at an event soon! Look out for the next UIC programme to be announced during the year.
