Important Numbers:

First–time Freshman:Applicants who enroll the semester following high school graduation or have no college hours:1. Rank in the top ½ of their high school graduating class and score a minimum SAT of 950 (Critical Reading + Math) or minimum

ACT of 20ORRank in the lower ½ of their high school graduating class and score a minimum SAT of 990 (Critical Reading + Math) or minimum ACT of 21ORRank in the top 10% of their high school graduating class from an accredited high school with no minimum SAT or ACT score

2. Graduate with 24 units of credit to include the following: English (4), Social Science (3.5), Science (3), Foreign Language (2) and Mathematics (3)

3. Submit an offi cial fi nal high school transcript which shows a graduation date and fi nal class ranking (mailed directly from high school to UMHB)

Transfer Student:Applicants with 12 or more transferable hours who intend to seek a degree at UMHB:

1. Submit offi cial transcripts from all previous colleges/universities attended 2. Have an overall GPA of a 2.0 or higher on all college hours attempted 3. Not currently on scholastic or disciplinary suspension from any college/university

Please refer to the current undergraduate catalog for additional details and information on other forms of admission.

Housing and fi nancial aid are limited. We suggest that you complete the fall admission process by returning all completed Admissions, Financial Aid, and Housing applications by March 1.

Enrollments deposits are due by May 1 for the fall semester and are fully refundable up to this date. For students accepted after May 1, enrollment deposits are due 2 weeks after acceptance.

Residence hall applications will be mailed to applicants once accepted for admission.Newly accepted students will be personally invited to CRU Camp and or Crusader Connection, an early orientation during the summer.

(The housing application will not be considered complete or an assignment made until all of the materials listed above are received. The application will be dated when it is received with the $300 enrollment deposit.
