• Nurses are vital in the care and treatment of children/adults with primary immuno-deficiencies (PID) and secondary immuno-deficiencies (SID).

• It has long been a discussion among and a strong wish from Swedish nurses to get the possibility to create a formal education in PID/SID nursing care on University level.

science and 3.0 ECTS in medical science

science and 3.0 ECTS in medical science– Nursing Science (examples)
• Immunodeficiency treatments, motivational dialogue techniques, patient-/family-education including compliance, and quality of life, etc
– Medical Science (examples)• Pathophysiology including genetics, diagnostic
procedures, microbiology and treatment of infections.

(Finland, Norway, Denmark, Iceland? Depending on availability)

stone in creating a formal Master program in Immunology Nursing/PID/SID Nursing?
– Europe? Globally? – Hopefully INGID will support the new University

• Octapharma; very generous contribution to the course and a very active and engaged support.
• However, the course will be ”Company neutral”.• Most costs covered by Octapharma but a minor fee has
to be paid by the employer.• Important by fee to signalling that this is a
major course on advanced level.• Costs for possible travelling and hotel covered by employer.
