1) The above proforma costs cover:
- Volunteer entitlements payable to UN Volunteers (eg. Volunteer Living Allowance, Settling-in-Grant, ResettlementAllowance and Well-Being Differential which is dependent on eligibility of duty station. Non-family duty station (A) undercategory D is US$500 per month, and Non-family duty station (B) categorized as E or Danger pay duty stations is US$1,000 permonth.). Well-being differential should be budgeted to cover the related costs.
- UNV Volunteer Assignment (eg. Medical and Life Insurance premiums, Training and Orientation, Travel (assignment, homevisit and repatriation costs) and Sundry which includes monitoring travel and medical evacuation costs) and UNV VolunteerManagement related costs (eg. Enhanced Field Presence (EFP), Volunteer Management Cost (VMC) and Country OfficeSupport Cost (COSC). These are charged to the hosting UN Agencies.
2) Residential security costs are are charged directly to the project/host UN agency at actual cost and are twofold: (1) costs dependent upon the duty station for implementing Residential Security Measures (RSMs) and funds should be budgeted to cover these expenditures; and (2) any possible security relocation/evacuation related charges.
3) Rates are subject to changes based on the annual consolidated Post Adjustment Multiplier (PAM) rates, and monthly variation of PAM rates and UNV annual Global charges.
