• Students decide if a third person, i.e., a parent, can obtain information on them:– “No one inside or outside the University shall
have access to, nor will the contents of students’ education records be disclosed without the written consent of the student.”

Financial Responsibility
• Account balance is student’s responsibility, regardless of who is paying
• Failure to attend classes does not constitute official drop or withdrawal
• Prior semester balances will result in enrollment cancellation
• Unpaid balances will be sent to external collections once internal collections efforts have failed– Will negatively impact credit rating– Additional fees, such as collection fees, legal fees,

• Generated monthly on the 10th – Email notifications sent to students and
authorized users– Available for viewing in Bursar Account

• If unpaid…– Service charge assessed at 1.2%– Bursar hold sanctions imposed

Payment Plans• Payment plans are available for currently registered
students;• A payment plan will include all charge balances in
your student account;• Must have at least $100 in charges in the current
semester;• Cannot have a prior semester balance greater than
$200; and,• Set up online through Bursar Account Suite in
LoboWeb: – Set up fee of $10 per payment– First payment and set up fee are due immediately– Automatic payments are required using a credit card, debit

Financial Aid / Account Refunds
• Financial aid file must be complete and student must be registered
• Aid proceeds, including scholarships, pay account balance first
• Direct deposit refunds are processed every Tuesday & Thursday
• Check refunds are processed once a week on Friday

Tuition & Fees
Residents of NM• $294.64 per credit hour, 1 to 14 hours
(full-time begins at12 hours)
• $222.14 per credit hour, 15 hours or more– $3,332.10 full-time block, 15-18 hours
• Amount covered by the Legislative Lottery Scholarship is pending Legislative approval
Non-Residents of NM• $887.66 per credit hour• $10,651.92 full-time block, 12 - 18 hours
