DON’T BE SILENT ON TURKISH STATE’S MASSACRE OF KURDS!!

In the past days the Turkish state has aggressively attacked and killed many Kurdish civilians in several Kurdish cities in North-Kurdistan, like Diyarbakir, Cizre and Nusaybin.

Since August, 53 curfews were declared in 7 different cities of 17 districts and over 1,300.000 people have been affected and hundreds of Kurds have been displaced because of the Turkish President Erdogan’s policies towards the Kurdish question.

During the blockade of towns and neighbourhoods by the law enforcement units members of the civilian population, youths, women, elderly and children were massacred. Journalists were arrested and freedom of the press was violated.

Several houses and historical places have been bombed and burned down. Over 150 armoured vehicles were positioned in several locations which gives a sign that the Turkish state is preparing a big massacre in the region.

The Turkish state which has no democratic mindset and no resolution for the Kurdish question is once again carrying out attacks to force people to surrender as it has done for decades. The actions of the Turkish state over the past several months have clearly demonstrated that its approach towards the Kurdish people, is based on cultural genocide and exploitation.

In response to Turkish government’s failure to provide a resolution to the Kurdish question and the continuing state repression and aggravated isolation imposed on Abdullah Ocalan, the Kurdish people have developed their own policies for democratic resolution and democratization against state repression and declared democratic self-rule.

The Turkish Parliament, the local and the international media have been silence on these brutal and criminal attacks committed by the Erdogan regime. We call on public opinion to break this silence and condemn the Turkish state’s terror against the humanity and stay in solidarity with the Kurds.

LONG LIVE KURDISH PEOPLES RESISTANCE AND DEMOCRATIC AUTONOMY!
