WalkAide Patient KitThe WalkAide patient system is an external functional electrical stimulation (FES) device designed to improve the walking ability of people experiencing foot drop, without the “fuss” of setting up wires and a heel switch.

WalkAide uses advanced sensor technology to analyse the movement of your leg and sends small amounts of electrical impulses to activate the muscles that raise your foot for the appropriate time during walking. The result is a smoother, more natural and safer stepping motion.

Terms And Conditions Of SaleTrulife concludes contracts for the Sale of Products only on the following conditions.

PricesAll orders are subject to acceptance by Trulife. All prices are (unless otherwise stated) exclusive of VAT which will be charged at the rate applicable at the time of invoice, unless a valid VAT exemption certificate (available from Customer Services) accompanies the order. Whilst every effort is made to maintain prices, Trulife reserves the right to increase the prices at any time in accordance with the latest published price lists prior to despatch.

PaymentCheques etc should be made payable to Trulife. Payment is due 30 days from date of invoice. Interest on overdue accounts will be charged at 3% per calendar month. Prepayment is required by non-account customers and private individuals.

DeliveryGoods leave our warehouses with a minimum of delay and for orders received by 3.00pm we aim to despatch stock products on the day the order is received. All prices for orders over £100 (excluding VAT) include the cost of delivery (to UK mainland) except where the customer requests a special delivery, in which case the additional costs incurred will be passed on to the customer. Details of such costs are provided at the time the order is placed. For orders under £100 a £5 contribution to the cost of postage and handling will apply. Special delivery charges apply to orders of Conforma Plaster of Paris and Hygia Casting Tape (please contact Customer Services for details). Trulife will do its best to meet delivery dates and quantities, but accepts no liability for the consequences of any delay or non-delivery.

ClaimsAny shortage, damage or discrepancy against shipments must be detailed in writing, together with a copy of the packaging list, to Trulife within 7 days of receipt of goods. All claims for goods lost in transit must be received by Trulife within 7 days of despatch of Trulife’s invoice for such goods. Claims cannot be considered after this time.

Return of GoodsGoods will only be accepted for return under the following conditions provided that they have not been specially ordered and manufactured. Prior to returning goods, telephone authorisation must be obtained. Goods must be returned within one calendar month from the date of the packing note. The packing note/invoice number must be included on the return advice. The goods must be in their original packaging, in a clean, resaleable condition. Trulife will not be responsible for return postage and packing unless the goods are faulty or incorrectly supplied. Except when goods are faulty or incorrectly supplied all returned goods will be subject to a 20% handling charge, with a minimum charge of £10 plus VAT to cover administration costs. If the packaging is damaged an additional flat rate charge of £2.50 plus VAT will apply to cover repacking costs.

Ownership of GoodsThe product shall remain the sole and absolute property of Trulife, until such time as the customer shall have paid the agreed price, together with the full price of any products subject to any other contract with Trulife.Trulife reserves the immediate right of possession of any goods to which it has retained title as aforesaid, which rights shall be exercisable if the customer has become unable to pay its debts as they fall due. For this purpose the customer grants an irrevocable right and licence to Trulife, its servants and agents to enter it’s premises, with or without vehicles, during normal office hours and thereafter. Trulife reserves the right to re-distribute the products.

Product Improvement PolicyTrulife reserves the right to change specifications, packaging or withdraw products in the interests of continuing product improvements. E. & O.E.

Conditions of SaleIt is a condition of sale that any orthopaedic product purchased from Trulife is restricted to use only by the originally fitted patient, in order to protect the care provider and the patient against potentially adverse consequences of infectious disease transmission or material instability resulting from previous use by the original wearer. Any express or implied warranties are voided if the product is re-used for another patient. Any orthosis purchased from Trulife must be prescribed and applied by a qualified clinician to ensure that it meets the needs of the particular patient and accomplishes the desired outcome.
