1. The entry fee is $350 per boat and is non-refundable made payable to Lemon Bay Touchdown Club, PO BOX 38, Englewood FL 34295-0038. This is for 4 people per boat. Each additional person is $50.

2. All contestants are required to follow all applicable federal, state and lo-cal statutes, rules and regulations (laws) - including slow/idle zones and manatee areas. Any violations of such laws may result in tournament dis-qualification.

3. Anglers may wade fish. When anglers are wading, the boat must be an-chored in place by anchor, push pole, Power Pole, or similar holding de-vice. All team members must be inside the boat prior to releasing the an-choring device.

4. Anglers may fish anywhere on tournament waters accessible by boat, ex-cept areas designated as off limits or no fishing by local, state, federal, or tournament officials, or within 50 yards of a competitors boat “actively engaged in fishing”. The definition of “actively engaged in fishing” is a boat with the trolling motor in operation with anglers fishing, a boat held in place by anchor, push pole, or Power Pole, or one or more anglers wading. There will be no fishing within 200 yards of the weigh in site.

5. No angler at anytime may alter any fish by length or weight with the inten-tion of gaining advantage over another competing team. In addition, no angler may hand or force feed any tournament fish.

6. All boats used in tournament competition must contain recirculating or aer-ated live wells. All competing boats must have all required US Coast Guard safety equipment.

7. No changing of boats without tournament official inspection of disabled boat, replacement boat must be checked in at tournament dock prior to restart.

8. The tournament channel will be VHF #68.9. No angler may fish in the confines of any commercial marina. A commercial

marina is defined as any marina with a guide dock, boat ramp, bait dispens-ing facility, and/or fuel dock. Also, no fishing within 100 yards of any public boat ramp, guide dock/ramp, bait dock, or fuel dock not in a commercial marina.

10. Redfish are catch and release for this tournament and must be released alive after weigh in. You will be allowed to weigh in dead redfish. However, the penalty is 1 pound per dead fish. At the time your fish are measured, they will be determined alive or dead.

11. There will be no tie breaker for first place. The prize money will be divided up evenly between the tied teams. All normal tournament rules apply.

12. Artificial-live or dead bait allowed.13. Only one rod at a time may be used per angler. A cast must be fully re-

trieved before another rod is picked up. All fish must be caught alive in a sporting manner.

14. Sportsman Rule - All participants will conduct themselves in a sportsman-like manner during all Lemon Bay HS Tournament activities.

15. Polygraph tests will be given at random. Each contestant agrees to submit, by their signature on the entry form, to the polygraph test to determine the results of the tournament and shall not contest the results.

16. Protests are allowed up to 30 minutes after the last boat weighs in. All pro-tests must be in writing and accompanied by $350 fee. If protest is upheld the fee will be returned, if denied, tournament will retain the protest fee.

17. Weigh master reserves the right to retain any fish for further inspection.18. The Lemon Bay HS Tournament retains the right to amend to these pub-

lished rules at any time during the tournament season in order to maintain the quality and competitiveness of our tournament.

19. In the event a small craft advisory is issued by NOAA before 6 pm on day prior to tournament or evening of offshore start and advisory is forecast for tournament day, the offshore division will be cancelled. Should this occur, a “lucky bucket” drawing will take place for all offshore division prizes: cash, trophy, and angler prizes at the weigh in.
