YOUTH AUCTION IS FAST APPROACHING: This event is Critical for our youth group. This one event provides all of the scholarship money we use for the entire year to help students and leaders attend all of our amazing retreats and camps that they might not be able to afford otherwise! Safe Haven Apple Pies will be sold in the HeBrews Café TODAY after the 8:00 and 9:30 services for $10 per pie in support of their mission project.

The Festival Choir and Worship Orchestra are now forming for our Christ-mas Cantata "And It Came to Pass, Emmanuel" by Jay Rouse and Rose Aspinall, to be held on Sunday, December 15th at 9:00am and 11:00am. Vocalists and in-strumentalists are needed for this musical Christmas spectacular. Rehearsals for members of the Festival Choir will be on Wednesdays at 7pm in the Music Room starting on Nov 6. Information regarding rehearsals for instrumentalists is soon to be announced.. Practice CD's and sheet music are available now in the Music Office. Please contact John Coakley ([email protected] or call the Church Office) if you are interested in this short-term commitment.

We will be hosting Family Promise families Nov. 3-10, and are looking for volunteers for set-up/tear down, preparing meals, and evening/overnight hosts. Contact Joanne Henny at [email protected] or 610-858-5966.

Our next Men’s Breakfast is on Sat., Nov. 2 from 8-9:30 am. The speaker will be Rob Maaddi, author, radio/TV personality. Tickets available at the office or contact George Bauer at [email protected].

Children's Ministry is seeking round coffee or baby formula containers for a special project! Any donations are greatly appreciated. Simply drop them off at the church office or Welcome Center before October 25.

Our next Inquirers’ Class will be offered Saturday, November 2nd from 10:00 am—12:00 pm in the HE-brews Café. Thank you for supporting our West Lawn Kitchen Ministry by either attending the meals or serving on the team. West Lawn UMC is seeing exciting growth & we need to add additional positions to our team: Administrative Assistant: 20 hours a week. (Start date: January 2, 2020) This position will work on special pro-jects and publications in order to pro-vide clerical support to the pastors, staff, and ministries. Western Berks Shepherding Minis-try is seeking volunteers to drive cli-ents to local medical appointments. You can choose when and where to drive.
