Keenagers Boat Cruise On Thursday, August 24th, our

Keenagers Ministry (ages 50+) will host a

Riverboat Cruise. Sign up today at the

Welcome center or see Phil or Florence

Mills for more information.

New Church Directory Over the month of August, we will be

finalizing our new church photo directories

which will be available later in September.

If you did not have a chance to come in

and get a photo taken, we encourage you

to submit a recent photo for the directory.

You can send it to

eric@capitalcommunity.ca anytime before

August 15th.

Outreach Opportunities We have several outreach opportunities

to get involved with this month. Our prison

ministry team is headed to Renous on

Thursday, August 10th and our Women’s

Shelter team is planning visits for August

3rd and August 31st. See Allan Porter or

Racheal Hamilton to get involved in either

of these areas!

E-Transfer Donations Did you know that you can donate to CCC

by e-transfer? From your online banking,

simply e-transfer to

donations@capitalcommunity.ca. Set up

question as “church street?” and answer

as “downing”. In the memo portion, you

can note any tithes/missions breakdowns.

Terry & Melani Shock We are honored to have Terry & Melani

Shock returning to Fredericton again on

August 8-15. Melani Shock will be speak-

ing on Wednesday, August 9th. They will

both be teaching at our Leadership and

Planning Weekend on August 11-12 and

Terry Shock will be speaking in both ser-

vices on Sunday, August 13th!

Backpacks and Breakfast On Sunday, August 13th, our Outreach

and Kids Ministry teams are combining to

organize a Backpack Giveback and

Community Breakfast for needy kids and

families in our area. If you would like to

help out or have someone in need, please

call the church office or see Dawn

Polchies.

Multicultural Service Our next multicultural service will be held

on Saturday, August 19 at 7pm, with

Curtis Scott speaking. Don’t miss this

great service leading up to our Baptism

Sunday!

Take The Plunge Sunday On Sunday, August 20th, we will hold

our second “Take The Plunge” Baptism

Sunday. We will have a pool ready for

baptisms and a time of celebration with a

BBQ following the service. If you would

like to be baptized or know someone who

wants to be baptized, please sign up at

the Welcome center or see any of our staff

today!

End of Summer Blast We are in need of volunteers to help with

our End of Summer Blast on September

3. If you can help out between 12-3pm

with activities or BBQ, please sign up to-

day!
