We have an exciting lineup of concerts to share with you.Our Veteran's Day Tribute Concert "Songs of World War I"will be presented tomorrow (Friday) at 1:30 pm. We hopeyou will join us as we honor our veterans in this specialconcert in the centennial year of World War I'send. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to hear ourVocal Pops, Wind Symphony and Symphonic Band, JazzWorkshop, Opera Scenes, and Jazz Ensemble in Jazz 4Justice™ concerts within the upcoming week! This Saturday,
we are hosting Horn Day, featuring Joe Lovinsky and the Kennedy CenterQuartet, and a flute masterclass and would be pleased to have you join us.Please know that your presence is always welcomed in our School of Musicspecial concerts and events!

The George Mason University combined flute choir event features flutists fromthe current GMU School of Music flute studios of Dr. Jennifer Lapple andProfessor Julianna Nickel and visiting high school students. This year, wewelcome a combined total of nearly 50 flutists for this event! High schoolparticipants were invited by audition to rehearse and perform side-by-sidecollege flutists for this event. The final concert features standard flute choirpieces, fun arrangements and holiday favorites! Please join us for thisinaugural event on Thursday, November 15 at 7:30p in Room 3001 in the deLaski Performing Arts Building. Directed by Dr. Jennifer Lapple, pictured aboveleading combined flute choir rehearsal.
