Squirrels Slide Through Altoona Series: + At a rain-soaked Diamond last night,The Flying Squirrels managed to maintain a one run lead over Altoona through four and a half innings to complete a 2-1 win and a series victory.With the game tied, 1-1, in the bottom of the third inning, Squirrels short- stop C.J. Hinojosa led off the inning with a solo home run through the rain over the left-centerfield wall to give the Squirrels a 2-1 lead.The home run was Hinojosa’s first of the 2018 season. Squirrels starter Jordan Johnson held Altoona to one run on four hits over 5.0 innings of work. Johnson now has thrown two complete games this season, both were shortened five innings games.
