START A NEW STREAK: The Dodgers had their season-high five game winning streak snapped in the series opener last night after having their rally cut short in the 10-7 loss to the NL West leading Colorado Rockies. Despite the loss, Los Angeles has won 10 of its last 13 overall and five of its last eight games on the road. Following the four-game weekend set in Colorado, the Dodgers will head back to California to face the San Francisco Giants for three contests before heading home for a season-long tying 10-game homestand against the Marlins, Cardinals and Cubs. The Dodgers 10-3 (.769) record since April 27 is tied for the best record in the big leagues with St. Louis. Los Angeles’ 98 wins at Coors Field are the most by any visiting club, and the Dodgers’ .513 winning percentage (98-93) also tops all National League road teams at Coors Field, with only Los Angeles and Philadelphia (.513) posting winning records in the history of the stadium. Spectrum Networks today announced Spectrum SportsNet LA and KTLA5 will simulcast the Dodgers vs. Miami Marlins game on Sunday, May 21 after last Sunday’s game against the Padres was rained out. The game was originally scheduled as the tenth and final SportsNet LA broadcast to simulcast on KTLA5 this season. LEAVE IT TO THE ACE: The Dodgers look to regroup following last night’s loss, as they will send ace Clayton Kershaw to the mound for his eighth start of the season. Kershaw last pitched on May 6 at San Diego, allowing just one run on five hits and struck out nine in 7.1 innings to record his fifth win of the season. He currently ranks among National League starters in wins (T-1 st ) and opponents’ OBP (.238), while ranking among the senior circuit in ERA (2.40, 3 rd ), innings pitched (48.2 IP, T-3 rd ), opponents’ batting average (.210, 5 th ), strikeouts (53, 6 th ) and strikeout-to-walk ratio (7.57, 3 rd ). The ‘pen, which has tossed scoreless baseball in 18 of 35 games this season, currently ranks second in the National League in ERA (2.90, 37 ER/115.0 IP), trailing only the Chicago Cubs 2.86 ERA. START A NEW STREAK: The Dodgers had their season-high five

game winning streak snapped in the series opener last night after

having their rally cut short in the 10-7 loss to the NL West leading

Colorado Rockies. Despite the loss, Los Angeles has won 10 of its

last 13 overall and five of its last eight games on the road. Following

the four-game weekend set in Colorado, the Dodgers will head back

to California to face the San Francisco Giants for three contests

before heading home for a season-long tying 10-game homestand

against the Marlins, Cardinals and Cubs.

The Dodgers 10-3 (.769) record since April 27 is tied for

the best record in the big leagues with St. Louis.
