COMEBACK KIDS: The Dodgers conclude their seven-game Midwest swing (4-2) and look for the three-game sweep of the Brewers this afternoon at Miller Park following yesterday’s 10-8 comeback win. The first-place Dodgers, winners of 13 of their last 17 games since May 17, will fly back to Los Angeles tonight before opening a six-game homestand against the Nationals and Reds. A win today would give the Dodgers their fifth series sweep of the season (also: Phillies, Padres, Pirates and Cubs) and their first sweep of the Brewers since Aug. 24- 26, 2010 at Miller Park. Yesterday marked the Dodgers’ 16 th comeback win of the season, which is tied for the second most in the National League, with the Cubs and Nationals, behind only the Diamondbacks’ 19. The Dodgers are a season high-tying 13 games over .500 and their 35 wins are tied for the most in the National League with Colorado, behind only Houston (40) for the MLB lead. The Dodgers lead the National League with a +87 run differential, 10 behind the Astros (+97) for the MLB lead. Los Angeles has gone 13-5 against NL Central opponents this year, while going 6-1 against the NL East and 16-16 against the NL West. The Dodgers are the only team in baseball that has yet to participate in Interleague play this year, and will face their first American League opponent, the Indians, June 13-15 in Cleveland. A BUNCH OF THIEVES: The Dodgers stole seven bases yesterday (without being caught), their most steals since Aug. 23, 1999 at Milwaukee and one stolen base shy of the LA record of eight, set Aug. 24, 1974 vs. St. Louis. The seven stolen bases were the most for any MLB team in a single game this year, and four more than the Dodgers’ previous high of three, April 6 vs. San Diego.
