The systems and pipes are made from aircraft grade stainlesssteel throughout and all curves are mandrel bent forunobstructed gas flow.
The downpipe has a 2” diameter at the join with the turbo toprovide room for the mounting bolts, but the pipe then widens to2.5” diameter for the best flow possible.
All systems are available with a choice of tailpipe design. Choosefrom Piper styles A, B, C, D, I, J, J3, K2, S2.(See Piper Exhausts website for tailpipe style details)
The exhaust system can be used with or without a remap. In anindependent test the exhaust with just a high flow panel type air filter gave power figure of 147.6bhp (98.6bhp atthe wheels) and 355.1Nm of torque. With a Unit 18 remap the same set up made 179.4bhp (114.5bhp at thewheels) with 401.4Nm of torque showing how well the exhaust and remap work in harmony.

Anyone who buys a new BMW 1 Series M Coupe is obviously a performance enthusiast, and Milltekhave been working closely with one of their main distributors, MRC Tuning, to further improve theperformance of the already quick sports coupe.
The development car already had a mild remap and with the standard exhaust it was dyno-testedat 355bhp / 600Nm (it leaves BMW’s factory in Munich with 340bhp and 450Nm).
With the new Milltek secondary cat-back exhaust system the car showed an impressive 5bhp /5Nm gain (so 360bhp and 605Nm overall).
Then the car was tested with the full Milltek primary cat-back system which removes the cars’secondary catalysts. This delivered even bigger power gains and better throttle response – 371bhpand 616Nm – which equates to a very impressive 16bhp power increase and an extra 16Nm oftorque to play with!
Now these two systems are available at your local Milltek dealer. They are easy to fit and made fromaerospace quality stainless steel for durability and longevity. As with all Milltek exhausts theyconform to EU standards, are street legal in all European countries and will pass the MoT emissionstest even with a mild remap similar to that carried out on the development car.

Milltek is now offering a full turbo-backexhaust system for the Audi RS3 SportbackS-tronic (2011 and later)
The standard factory-fit Audi RS3 exhaust has four catalysts: twoprimary and two secondary. The Milltek system removes the secondarycatalysts for better throttle response, more aggressive sound andmaximum performance increase. Note that the Milltek system is availablewith resonated centre section which has two centre silencers in the middle of thesystem or, non-resonated centre section which has just two straight-through pipes in the centre.
The system is available with the traditional twin 90mm diameter polished stainless steel tailpipe, or- for something really different - the new, twin, 90mm ceramic black tailpipe trims.
The exhaust also features Active Exhaust Valve and in keeping with Milltek’s policy of ResponsibleTuning all road use Milltek exhaust systems are street legal and certificated for use in all countriesthroughout the EU. Furthermore, in spite of their ‘tuned’ exhaust note all Milltek road-use exhaustsalso comply with all EU noise volume regulations.

Milltek is now offering a full turbo-back exhaust system for the new Audi A1 1.4 TFSi 185PS.
While the top-of-the-range Audi A1 is closely related to the SEAT Ibiza Cupra and Bocanegra 1.4TSi and Polo GTi, the exhaust design still required some subtle changes to suit the slightly differentaesthetics of the Audi variant.
As you can see from the photos, the tailpipes really add a bit of glamour to the rear of the car andlet other drivers know the A1 in front is a little bit special. Not that they won't be able to tell that fromnew sound coming from the enlarged twin tailpipes.
The Milltek exhaust system is available in cat-back form (which does not require ECU tuning), orfor those wishing to take full advantage of the engine's tuning potential, a full turbo-back optionfeaturing a large-bore downpipe and hi-flow sports catalyst. Milltek only uses the highest qualityGerman HJS catalysts to ensure that the car will remain emission-legal and pass the UK MOT test- even with an ECU remap and a full exhaust system.
Through an extensive development process, Milltek engineers have been able to develop anexhaust that is rich in its depth of sound with an aggressive undertone but have also been able toensure that the car’s everyday cruising integrity within the cabin is preserved intact.

Gaz have just released a 40mm inverted mono tube insert, which features a high quality hardchrome plated outer cylinder that is fitted with a 14mm induction hardened piston rod.
The unit is charged with nitrogen and a high viscosity fluid that is separated by a floating piston forconsistant damping under extreme conditions.

The GAZ Outboard Turret Coilover features spherical bottom bearing, height adjustability and bumpand rebound adjustment by means of a easy to reach adjuster knob on the side of the damperbody.

Range Rover gets Milltek Treatment
Milltek have added to their Range Rover models with a new performance exhaust for the RangeRover Sport TDV6.
The sporty V6 2.7 or 3.0 diesel models will be able to utilise the Milltek stainless exhaust systemwhich enhances looks, performance and sound.
The larger bore of the Milltek system allows better "spool up" on the turbo increasing throttleresponse and torque from either the 2.7 or 3.0 engines.
Coupled with an AmD remap the 3.0 model gains 60bhp and 100 lb.ft of torque. The other benefit ofthe increase in torque is an improvement in fuel economy due to using less throttle to get the samespeed on the road.
The AmD remap and Milltek exhaust package is £1035.14 inc vat, rolling road and fitting. Thisrepresents a saving of £250 compared to when the items are purchased seperately.
