Achievements: • 6 scientific papers (2 research papers and 4 papers in proceeding of peer-reviewed conferences published. • Young Scientist Award from Uttarakhand Council of Science & Technology (UCOST) for Year 2008-2009. • Main aim of this study was to found a robust sewage treatment option. Based on our findings, Indian government took the initiative to upgrade the existing STPs and installation of new STPs based on SBR technology. 7. Achievements: • 18 scientific papers published (8 research papers & 1 review paper; 9 papers in proceedings of peer-reviewed International Conferences). • 3 fully financial travel supports to attend the International conference at Thailand (2007, 2010) and Malaysia (2008). • On the basis of research findings, the Peer & Core Committee of central pollution control board (CPCB) finalized the microbiological standards guidelines for wastewater treatment processes, reclaimed water quality and setback distances for various types of water reuse (Guidelines are under publication).
