4G Planning

LTE-Indoor Small Cell & WI FI planning

• Responsible for indoor small cell planning in all Hot Spots of Top-6 Cities of UPE through IB Wave Tool.

• To identify the no of Antenna required to cover the building through prediction plot by IB Wave of coverage/quality

• To prepare the BOQ list (Material required list) by IB wave tool to our NHQ Team.

• Coordinating with Vendor for small cell installation & integration.

• Have done WI-FI Planning in Lucknow City by using IB wave Toll.

• To identify/Optimize the No of AP required to cover the particular area without Covergae Gap & Interference Through the prediction plot by using IB wave.

• Responsible for WI-FI Testing & Integration by coordination with various vendor team.

• Daily basis conducting the test plan to vendor for Throughput/Latency test at WI-FI Zone.

LTE-Macro Cell Planning

RF Site Desktop Validation & Approval for site candidate’s offline as well as in GIS on the basis of RSRP, simulation plot & Inter site distance by using Google earth, MapInfo, Atoll tools & Simulation Plot.

Have done PCI & TAC Planning for UPE Circle for R4G LTE Network.

Report preparation & Validation in GIS for New site.

Planning of DTA (Difficult to acquire) Sites to Various IP’s like Indus, Viom, Bharti, ATC, TVI, BSNL etc.

Responsible for raising & issuing the Site request/Service Order to IP’s (Infra Providers) in their Portals (Like Tarantula, I cube, Bharti Portals etc.) as per MSA signed with them

4G Macro Cell Optimization

Coordinating for ATP, SCFT & Cluster Opt. with Samsung from RJIL RF Team for Analyzing, Validating & Acceptance of SCFT Report, CLOT Report and ATP Reports through RF tool (Site Forge) on the basis of their KPI’s /Threshold.

Analyzing & Improving the SCFT KPIs: Successful UE Attach (< 1.5 s), VOLTE Set up time , Successful Handover from All 3 Sectors, Cell Overshooting Observed( < 10% ), Average / Peak MAC Throughput DL (kbps), Average / Peak MAC Throughput UL (kbps).

Validating & Analyzing the PCI plan & suggest to Change the PCI in case of Poor throughput & Latency (Due to interference) found by using the LSMR Tools.

Coordinating with Vendor team for releasing of daily basis plan to Drive test engineers for SCFT activity at the sites & troubleshooting the Throughput & Latency related issues.

2G (900/1800 Band) Drive Test/Optimization

Monitored and detected degradation in 2G network KPI and recommend solution for improvement to meet the target.

Performs network parameter audits and recommend parameter settings alignment for KPI improvement.

Analyzing all major 2G KPI’s such as

SD Drop TCH Blocking TCH Drop TCH Blocking HOSR DLQ etc. to improve network level KPI’s.

Analysis of various ND reports (like ND 196, 232, 111, 208, 153, etc.) for optimization.

Have done standard cabling for Nokia BTS (Ultra /Flexi) to meet the requirement of KPI (DLQ).

Having Very good knowledge of CNT Cabling Connection to rectify the Channel Failure alarm (7745)/ Path loss improvement to improve the TCH Completion rate & Traffic Pushing.

Analyzing Layer 3 Messages to find Cause of Handover Failures, blocked calls, Dropped Calls & abnormal network behavior.

Optimization Of new sites KPI for taking Signed signoff from customer.

Traffic balancing of sites by parameter tuning (Sync, TRHO,LER LAR,DRT) and ground level (Physical) as well (Orientation & Tilting of Antenna).

Traffic Balancing/Pushing from 900 Band to 1800 Band for the same sector (Subcell) in case of Multiband.

Analyzing & rectifying Neighbor discrepancies, non-symmetrical neighbor, adjacent Co-BISC, Co- BCCH and Adj-BCCH neighbor’s, and anomalies in HO synchronization.

RF Pre - Post drive data analysis, Reports analysis.

Regular drive testing to deeply analyze certain problematic areas identified through statistical analysis of Log File’s & customer complaints and implementing Tilt/Height/azimuth changes on existing cells to optimize coverage and Quality.

Daily basis Responsibility

• Responsible for Cluster Optimization (KPI’s) of swapped sites of Telenor from Ericsson to Huawei.

Analyzing & Troubleshooting the all major 2G Voice KPI’s at parameter level & ground level for the Varanasi Cluster such as SD BlockingSD DropTCH Drop TCH Blocking HOSR DLQ etc. to improve network level KPI’s.

• Analyzing the RF Pre Post Log files & Reports of Swapped sites/Cluster.

• Cluster PAC/FAC Submission to Customer after meeting all the KPI’s thresholds.

• Route Cause Analysis of Worst Cells of BSC/Zone on daily basis & taking the necessary actions against the Worst KPI at Parameter Level as well as Physical Opt.
