Dear Colleagues,

It is with pleasure that I invite you to the “Updates in orthodontics and orthognatic surgery” congress, to be held in Verona on 19th-20th-21st April 2008 under the patronage of the European Asso-ciation of Cranio-Maxillo-facial Surgery and the Italian Society of Maxillo-Facial Surgery. The purpose of the Congress is to discuss, with both orthodontists and maxillofacial surgeons, all available tools for management of disgnathic patients from a scientific point of view, the aim being to help achieve optimal results both functionally and ae-sthetically.With a scientific program that includes all the most important den-tofacial deformity topics and an international faculty of world-re-nowned speakers, all participants will be involved with a multidi-sciplinary approach in an attempt to improve all the diagnostic and therapeutic skills need to obtain satisfactory results. For this reason the topics will regard not only orthodontics and surgery but also TMJ, aesthetics, airways and other breakthrough matters such as the role of the occlusal plane in patient profile management. Furthermore the Congress venue, the Gran Guardia Palace, located in heart of historic Verona, will allow attendees to disco-ver, after the Meeting, all the most suggestive corners of the city, from the house of Romeo and Juliet to the Arena, the ancient Roman Amphitheatre that is world-famous for the Opera.I look forward to welcoming you to Verona.

Your sincerely,

Pier Francesco Nocini
