Update instruction
• Update 5418-1232 Firmware
– Load application Tecjet 5418-1232 H.SCP
– Do not select the option Restore the device’s current settings after loading the application.
– Turn off power for 10 secs
• Restore parameters
– Load settings file TecJet50PlusMTUParameters3.wset
– Turn off power for 10 secs
• Check the update with TecJet Service Tool

• Connect to the valve with the TecJet Service Tool
• Check that the Software Part Number now is
– TecJet 5418-1232 H
• Check that the Hardware Part Number is
– 8407-525 NEW

Record upgrade
• Write down information to send back to Woodward
– Software Part Number
– Serial Number
– Hardware Part Number
• Woodward will update the unit’s history
