Veterinary Nurse Conference 2017
The conference will be hosted by UQ VETS and held at The University of Queensland Gatton campus. Join us for a full weekend of educational sessions designed to provide practical information for veterinary practice staff and animal carers. The two days will be packed with lectures and wetlabs of many different topics, you will hear from specialist in the field speaking about a range of topics including small animal emergency and critical care, avian and exotics and equine radiology. Many of our speakers have spoken internationally and we have specialists in equine internal medicine and veterinary anaesthesia.
This is a wonderful opportunity for veterinary nurses to further their education in their chosen fields.
The conference will offer three streams: Small Animal, Avian & Exotics and Equine. Attendees will be asked to nominate the stream of choice upon registration, but will be welcome to move around between sessions on the weekend.
Topics to be covered include:Small animal anaesthesia and analgesia Avian anaesthesia and analgesia Equine surgical and medical nursing Equine radiology
