All resources, textbooks, and syllabi are submitted to and approved by the College Board. Ursuline offers nine advanced placement courses: Cal- culus AB, French, English Literature and Composition, Biology, Chemistry, U.S. Government and Politics, U.S. History, Psychology, and Spanish. The pass rate of Ursuline students on AP exams averages 77% which compares favorably with the global average of 61%. Financial Aid, Scholarships, and Tuition Assistance Programs

Ursuline High School is and always will be committed to providing tuition assis-tance in the form of academic scholarships, work-study grants, Adopt-A-Student grants, and need-based scholarships. All students of Ursuline High School are eligible to apply for financial aid regardless of sex, race, creed, nationality or ethnic origin. In order to be eligible for financial aid, a student must be officially registered at Ursuline High School and his/her parent/guardian must complete the Ursuline High School Financial Aid Form which is returned directly to Ursuline High School. To be considered for financial assistance based upon NEED, a Private School Aid Service (PSAS) form must also be completed and mailed in the envelope provided. Recipients of financial aid will be notified as to the amount of financial assistance by June 15. Financial assistance is provided thrrough the following programs: The Bowers’ Scholarship Trust, Winter’s Student Fund, Adopt-A-Student Program, Work-Study Program, Ursuline High School Endowed Scholarships, Band Scholarships,Professional Courtesy for Diocesan Teachers, Discounts for 2nd and 3rd child. Over $400,000 in financial assistance has been awarded for the 2013-2014 school year.

Fine and Performing ArtsUrsuline’s Fine and Performing Arts Program is one of the finest in the area. Music offerings include marching band, concert band, and jazz band. The marching band performs throughout the football season, at school rallies, and at selected basketball games, and the concert and jazz bands hold two concerts, one in December and one in May. The theater program is renowned. Students have the opportunity to participate in four productions - the fall musical, the student-directed one acts, the winter play, and the spring musi-cal. Classes are also available in stagecraft and musical theater. The Fine Arts curriculum includes four years of studio art courses as well as semester courses in multi-media art and ceramics. Ursuline students win countless awards at Regional and National Art Shows.
