U.S.-Africa Clean Energy Standards Program Sponsored by the U.S. Trade Development Agency (USTDA) and coordinated by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) in partnership with Power Africa, the U.S.-Africa Clean Energy Standards Program (CESP) provides a forum through which industry and government representatives from the U.S. and Sub-Saharan Africa can: n Cooperate on issues relating to standards, conformity assessment, and technical regulations for clean energy technologies; n Foster the relationships necessary to facilitate U.S.-Africa technical exchange on standards, conformity assessment, and technical regulations; and n Exchange up-to-date information on the latest issues and developments relating to standards, conformity assessment, and technical regulations in the clean energy space. Beginning in 2016, ANSI will coordinate an initial 4 workshops over an 18-month period in Sub-Saharan Africa under the CESP. The workshops will cover a wide range of technologies and challenges in the clean energy area. Workshop topics will be chosen in coordination with relevant industry associations, ANSI, and USTDA. U.S.-Africa Clean Energy Standards Program

Sponsored by the U.S. Trade Development Agency (USTDA) and coordinated by the American National Standards
