We have completed the review of item 1545 (citizen correspondence in the form of a cassette tape recording), which is being made available to you in part. Information concerning the name and address of the private citizen has been deleted from this recording pursuant to exemption (7)(C).

In reference to your letter to us dated December 11, 1980, we did not find any notations in item 1578. (Book entitled The Assassination Tapes by George O'Toole.) -

To pages of item 1644 are not included in the attached package. These two pages pertain to Clay Shaw and contain information which originated with the CIA. We are referring these pages to the CIA on a consultation basis. Upon completion of our consultation with the CIA, these pages will be sent to you at a later date.

We are presently reviewing another series of files. The review of these files will be completed as soon as possible.

Pursuant to Department regulations, you have a right to appeal the deletions as a partial denial of your request. This appeal must be made within thirty days in writing and addressed to the Associat3 Attorney General (Attention: Office of Information and Privacy Act Appeals) Department of Justice, Washington,.
