Significant improvements in PRA compliance Department-widein FY 2003
Thirteen USDA Agencies currently rated green for information collection portfolio management
USDA has moved away from “expiration” violations, but still has “unapproved” or “extension” violations
Please work with your Agency PRA contacts to address any violations and encourage full compliance

Web sites are official USDA publications
Agency Webmasters and Program Managers need to know:
- Contents and presentation of a Web site are official records
- Web site content should be current
- Out of date material should not be shown on a Web site

Continued to endorse the USDA Enterprise Architecture (v.1.04) and “Transformation Path”
- Established 11 lines of business, 8 of which were derived directly from the USDA eGovernment Strategic Plan FY 2002-2006
- Support for Presidential Initiatives
Restated its support for the approach to enterprise-wide initiatives identified in April:
- Web-based Supply Chain moved to Control
- Reaffirmed commitment to Enablers which were already in Control
67 “major” investments approved. E-Board accountable not just for decision but also for leadership in implementation
