Closed areas are marked with "Area Closed" or "Beach Closed" signs. Visitors may pass in front of, but not behind, these signs.Area closures are subject to change, but are maintained between April 15 and September 15.Wheeled carts are prohibited within the Monomoy Wilderness, which extends to mean low water in all areas except Morris Island.Pack out ALL personal items and waste.Dogs are permitted on Morris Island before May 1 and after September 15 each year, but are prohibited year-round in all other areas.Contact the Refuge for information regarding additional regulations.
