• AGF-”Provide ground force units properly organized, trained and equipped for combat operations” 4,400,000 personal served in it.

• ASF- in charge of supplying U.S. Army with supplies. *Corps of engineers, medical corps, chemical warfare service, etc.

• AAF- training and making ready the air component of U.S. Army.

• In the United States there was a population of 129 million during the war.

• In the Army there were 300,000 killed.• And 300,000 wounded.• In total that was 600,000 total military

personal dead.

•Imprisoned, but once WW2 came he had the right connections with the Italian Mafia

•He was eventually released but forced to leave the U.S. and go back to Italy

The CIA operates to help the Mafia seize total power and sends money to others to

help assist in their battle with the communists. By 1951 Luciano has pulled

their resources.

More about “Lucky” Luciano

• In 1931 he created the American Mafia by wiping out the Sicilian Mafia.

• He was also the founder of the National Crime Syndicate-gangs that organize crime.

• He was born in Sicily and brought to this country in 1906.

• In 1907 he was arrested for shoplifting and started his first racket during this year.

The End of Lucky…He felt he was not getting a fair income from the mob, but suffered many heart attacks he was not in shape to protest.

In 1962, he died of a heart attack at Naples airport. It wasn’t till after his death that he was allowed to come back to the united States. He was buried in New York City in St. John’s Cemetery.
