This community encompasses the future intersection of USA Parkway and Highway 50 (US 50 & USA PKWY); providing direct access to the rapidly developing Tahoe Reno Industrial Center (TRIC), located within Storey County, Nevada. The growth of TRIC is already a driving factor for new growth and development with the Reno/Sparks area and the estimated 2017 completion of USA Parkway is expected to create an array of new industrial, commercial and residential development within the Silver Springs area.

A b o u t t h e L o c a t i o nThe Silver Center is a proposed 25.7-Acre commercial development project located at 3200 Opal Avenue at the intersection of the future USA Parkway and Highway 50. Given this key location, the property is ideally suited for a commercial project to service expected increased traffic in the surrounding area. With the completion of USA Parkway, NDOT expects an additional 17,000 vehicles to use this section of roadway in the coming years, saving more than 38% travel time for commuters driving between 50 and 80, and will ultimately draw 70% of total truck traffic off of I-80. A Planned Unit Development has been proposed for this site, which encompasses a variety of uses to cater to this additional growth and traffic.

It is located in Storey County, Nevada approximately 9 miles east of the Reno-Sparks area on the 1-80 freeway. There are two dedicated exits (Patrick & USA Parkway), one that serves a four-lane artery south through the center of the park. The industrial center is a 15 minute drive from the Reno Tahoe International Airport.

TRI Center currently has approximately 15,000 acres in Phase 1, Phase 2, and Phase 3 zoned for industrial use, with plans of future expansion. This vast park is intended to be a mixed-use, nonresidential development, consisting of a wide range of industrial, office and commercial businesses. There is approximately 11 Million SF of industrial space now in use by almost 130 companies. Sites range from 5 to 5,000 acres to accommodate uses of all kinds.
