Both courses will have fences at 3’ for Hunters and 1.00m for Jumpers with 2 high option fences of 3’3” for Hunters and 1.05m for Jumpers. The Handy Hunter Derby round will include some natural fences, at least one trot fence and bending line and will be judged on performance, hunter pace, style, quality and handiness. The Jumper round will consist of a minimum of 8 jumps with a minimum of one combination and will be judged as Table II.1 (speed class). The class will start with the Hunter course in the Parkside Stables Grand Hunter Ring. Upon completion, riders must walk on a designated path to the Jumper course in the Sundance Equestrian Grand Jumper Ring. Riders MUST stay mounted and MUST walk from one ring to the other with no interaction. Upon entering Jumper Ring, horse and rider will have 5 seconds before the starting whistle.
