Intended UsageThe Acoustix is a waterproof and shock-resistant, rechargeable bluetooth speaker with optional FM and auxiliary inputs. It is designed to interface with most modern bluetooth-equipped phones, tablets and other blue-tooth-capable personal electronics. An auxiliary input jack makes it possible to connect a cable to the head-phone jack of almost any electronic device, including bluetooth and non-bluetooth equipped devices such as cassette tape players or portable CD players. Additionally Acoustix provides FM-radio functionality.

Care, Maintenance and Safety Information- Waterproof to 1 meter (about 39 inches) of water. Do not submerge below this level or for extended periods of time.

- Do not disassemble unit or remove any parts. Doing so will compromise the water-proof capability and void the manufacturer’s warranty.

- Do not clean with volatile chemicals or cleaners that contain ammonia, bleach or alcohol. Clean only with water and a small amount of dish-washing detergent.

- Do not listen at close distance or extremely high volume levels. This could be harmful to your hearing.

- Disposal of Acoustix and battery should be in accordance with all local regulations.

- Keep away from direct flames and do not burn to dispose when discarded.

During initial pairing, your smart phone may display a screen asking if you want to allow Acoustix to access your contacts. If you grant this permission, incoming phone calls will display the name of the caller if it is in your device’s address book. If you do now allow this, or if your device does not support this feature, or if the caller’s number is not in your address book, the incoming caller’s phone number will be shown on the Acoustix display.
