SECTION 1

INTRODUCTION

What Is VTN?

VTN or Virtual Terminal Network is a revolutionary Virtual/Mobile payment network designed solely for the developing economies, keeping emerging markets in mind by not requiring expensive and impractical payment initiatives of the yester years. With initial deployment in Africa's most populous country, we use the most practical and latest in Mobile and Web technology to help make transactions and accessing your funds more convenient nationwide. Deposit funds at any participating financial institution, have your money follow you wherever you go nationwide.

VTN allows Merchants and Retailers to process transactions safely and securely from any computer connected to the internet and GSM Phone. With a secure login, you can complete transactions rapidly within the VTN network and receive instant authorization in real time. In addition, VTN can run in additional two languages French and Spanish for the eventual deployment in other countries. VTN allows you to go global while staying local.

Account Holders can fund their accounts via any participating financial institutions, agents and retailers in VTN’s extensive network. Withdraw your funds easily and securely over the internet or by using your GSM phone, then pick up your funds at any participating Bank or financial institution whenever you like. Absolutely no waiting in line!

Is there any need for VTN?

Yes. VTN is the only payment network destined to accelerate the unavoidable take off of ecommerce in many regions of the world. It is a much-needed service especially in underserved countries of Africa where ecommerce is yet to develop due to non-availability of a payment system of international standard. Now you don’t have to worry about how to receive payments on your web site or ordinarily pay for goods and services without having to go to the Bank.

Page 5: User guide for Personal and Merchant account

5

All you need to do now is to purchase VTN reload card from any reseller or go to any of the participating Bank to fund your VTN account. There is no limit to what you can do once your account is funded. On other hand, it’s an opportunity for businesses to acquire more their clientele with automated account and transaction management.

Who needs VTN?

In short everyone, from online shoppers to every business that value real time payment settlement that is fast and scalable. Before now, credit cards seem to be the only way to make real-time payment online, but that is not true. VTN is the practical option for those countries where credit card system does not exist. With VTN turnkey solution, you can now begin to buy or sell services online and pay in real time.

VTN is a breakthrough for utility companies that want their customers to pay their bills in real time. VTN provides excellent reporting tools so you can monitor transactions as they occur nationwide.

How does VTN works?

VTN’s primary function is Transaction Processing. In other words, VTN with its state of the art technology infrastructure lies between customer and the businesses. For example, Mr. A, a buyer and Mr. B, a seller can do business together without seeing each other. Seller of service or product can integrate our merchant solution to their web site. This helps buyers to pay seamlessly from any location worldwide; on completion of this transaction the seller receives payment minus the fees in his VTN account instantly. This fund is immediately available for withdraw.

VTN is perfect for person-to-person payments. VTN allows you to pay another person who’s thousands of miles away from you. The recipient can later withdraw the fund using his/her GSM phone or online or simply leave the money there for future purchases.

VTN and User Safety

Your VTN account safety and security is of utmost importance, and you can be confident that our Fraud Department does its best to prevent surprises and online theft. VTN adheres to the most stringent security compliance practices you’re your peace of mind. All participating agents within the VTN network are required to install up-to-date Kaspersky antivirus and internet security software in their system before making their first transaction in the VTN network.

Internal Audits by licensed VTN auditors are regularly and randomly performed to check the systems and computers of all participating agents in the VTN network in order to prevent against internal fraud and assure Merchants and Account Holders alike that their VTN funds are safe and secure. Occasional PCI Audits also take place to ensure adherence to all security requirements.

In addition, here are the steps you should take to help safeguard your money and prevent unauthorized access to your account:

If you use a personal computer or laptop to access your account, we highly recommend that you purchase and install a copy of the Kaspersky (www.kaspersky.com) products. Use it to scan and protect your computer from any possible security breach such as key logger Trojans -- malicious software that surreptitiously monitors your keystrokes and logs them to a file in order to record your personal information including login information for account access.

Never respond to an unsolicited email to update your account. “Phishing” involves the use of fraudulent emails and copycat websites to trick you into giving online thieves your personal information, such as name, account number, social-security number, username and password to access your account. All genuine emails from VTN will address you directly by using your first and last name, as well as your phone number. If you receive an email without your name and phone number in it, do not click any links within the email. You should then delete it from your inbox.

Do not share your account information with anyone, irrespective of the relationship. If you do and your account is compromised, VTN is not liable for your loss. VTN support staff will never ask you for your password or PIN number when accessing your funds. Keep your information safe and private. If support staff personnel ask for your account or login information, be rest assured that this is not our practice and should be reported immediately to VTN’s Internal Fraud Department.

Cash withdrawals made using your GSM phone must originate from the same number on your VTN file. No transactions can be made through any other phone number than the one listed in your VTN account.
