Background

This document allows for a printed version of the Registration of Contractor (Public Work Division Maharashtra) User

Manual, which is an integral part of the eROC Software. The online user manual is a Help file within the software.

1. Introduction

Public Works Department registers Civil Contractors for execution of works and issues registration certificates to

them.

Other departments use the same registration certificate to allot civil works to them.

Depending on the applied class for registration the documents submitted by contractors are checked at different

levels like EE/SE/CE and Government. Verified documents are submitted to the competent authority for issue of

Registration Certificate.

This whole process takes lot of time; often the contractors are not aware about the status of registration.

To speed up the process of registration of contractors, simplified online process of the registration is proposed

as below

2. KYC Registration Process

Fill the Know Your Company form:

Type: (Please select the type carefully):

For Contractor: Civil (Regular) / Retired Engineers / Construction Supervisor / Interior Decorator / Modular Furniture / Architect.

For Unemployed Engineer

You will get following screen. All the correspondence is done via email. Hence proper and correct mail id is very

important aspect.

The applicant needs to activate the provided email id.

Please click on submit new

button to proceed further.



The applicant receives the system generated email from eROC system.





After login, following screen appears. All the KYC details along with online portal charges button.

3) Annexure A

Contractor will login the site and fills the Annexure A form where he need to fill his/her details along with company registration and TAXs details etc.



Click on save & proceed.

Appendix C (Un-employed Engineer):

If the applicant selects Un-employed engineer then Appendix C will appear.

Applicant will receive the System generated mail.



Applicant will visit the committee with all concerned original document, and its two Xerox attested copies with

payment receipt.

4) Committee Scrutiny Process and Committee Formation:

At District level a document scrutinizing committee comprising 2 Executive Engineer and 2 Divisional Account

officer will work on designated days at District Head quarter.

The committee will login. Scrutiny of online submitted documents with original will be done according to waiting

list of contractors,

Documents like work done, quantity etc will be sent to respective authorities for confirmation.

After confirmation, the committee shall update the record in next sitting.

Once this activity is completed then the case will be recommended online to the competent authority like

SE/CE/Govt. level for approval or approved at EE level as per his competency.



5) Approving Authority Authentication Levels:

The case will be forwarded according to the class of applicant.

Approving Authority person are authorize one to reject and accept the contractor any of the document.

If Approving Authority rejects the contractor case, then Approving Authority needs to fill the reason for

rejection.

After rejection from Approving Authority, case will again automatically come at committee end.

If Approving Authority will accept the case and approved it then case will forward to respective Executive

Engineer.

The status of application of registration will be informed to the applicant via email.





6) Registration issuing authority:

Executive Engineers are authorized to generate the certificate after receipt of approval from the Approving

Authority.

Executive Engineer will generate the Registration Certificate with Digital Signature.

Without Digital Certificate, Registration certificate is not valid.
