STARS main menu is loaded with list of items to begin Aircraft analysis function

User can download flight data from the recorder connected via MPI

User selects the type of download device to use for downloading operation

User chooses download option, specifies by pressing the browse button to allocate where the data file should be stored and naming the file to be downloaded

User can then import flight data into STARS alternatively downloaded or stored from a specific device such as USB, QAR or PCMCIA card

User then browses storage devices to load and import the data file required for replay and analysis

User selects send flight data to store the downloaded data file ready for analysis

User nominates a location using an explorer window to store downloaded files

User selects flight data ready to replay and convert from raw format into engineering units

Flight data file is selected from a specific location ready to replay in STARS.

User clicks on Display EU report to design or run a report based on the downloaded data selected

Parametres are selected in the report design section, time adjusted if a certain flight is required

User clicks view report in the engineering unit screen to then view the report with all parameters nominated in both a listing and graphical trace.

User selects sensor test & monitoring to analyse sensors on the aircraft are in correct position

User selects the appropriate parameter to adjust its sensor while STARS is connected to the aircraft FDR. Aircraft details are stored to print a report or export to excel document

The User selects a parameter to adjust sensor readings to the correct range

STARS - Calibrate Aircraft ParametersUser saves range for Aircraft sensor

Once the ideal range is found the red area turns green to pass the new reading.

The user saves this range and the next parameter is selected.
