The brain, brainwaves and brainwave entrainment 

Before going any further it is important to take just a few words to talk about the brain, brain

waves, and what happens when

the brain is exposed to brain

wave entrainment… 

Your brain is comprised ofapproximately 100 BILLIONneurons. A neuron is aspecialized cell that transmitsinformation via electricalchemical impulses that travelfrom one neuron to another vianeural synapses (pathways between the neurons).

Depending on the messages being transmitted, theseimpulses move from neuron toneuron in a regular pattern (a brain wave) that can be measured using specialized equipment called an EEG.

Scientists have been able to use the EEG to distinguish 5 distinct brain waves that equate to 5different mental states that can be generally described as...

  Gamma: 30-60 Hz: Associated with compassion, empathy, decision making understress, and higher brain functioning and processes. Gamma Frequencies are found

naturally in higher amounts in long time meditators. It is thought to improve clarity ofthought and believed to improve intuition. 

  Beta: 13-30 Hz: Wide awake state and associated with sensory motor awareness.Focused and alert, analytical thinking, learning new information quickly. Usuallyassociated with peak mental and physical performance, but is also associated with stressand anxiety. 

  Alpha: 8-13 Hz: Associated with lighter meditative states and super learning. It is arelaxed yet alert state of mind ideal for positive thinking and creative problem solving. Itis used to elevate mood, reduce stress, enhance creativity and is believed to bridge theconscious and unconscious mind. 

 

Theta: 4-8 Hz: This is the dream state and is ideal for creative inspirations, enhancedvisualization, deep meditation, deep relaxation, inner peace and a general sense of well- being. Key state involved in energy healing work. Believed to increase inner wisdom,enhance intuition, and reduce stress. 

  Delta: 0.6-4 Hz: This is deep sleep with no dreaming. It is associated with physicalhealing and recuperation, healing of the limbic system and may positively influence

symptoms of PTSD. Believed to help with inner growth and wisdom, deep healing, andrecovery from trauma. 

At any given time a person's overall brain wave pattern is a combination of the alpha, beta, theta,delta, and gamma brain waves and each of these patterns, in general, equates to different mental,emotional, even spiritual states.

Brainwave Entrainment technology has been designed to entrain your brain into specific brainwave patterns, hence enabling you to move into a desired mental/emotional state.

Brainwave Entrainment is based upon the discovery by a Dutch scientist named ChristianHuygens in 1665. Huygens observed that when a number of clocks were put in a room, the

 pendulums would eventually all synchronize with oneanother's rhythm, no matter how intentionally off rhythmthey were started. He called this tendency to synchronizeentrainment. This natural entrainment was so precise thateven alignment with the most advanced machines could

not get them synchronized as well. 

The human brain also follows the same kind ofentrainment response, responding to rhythmic outsidestimuli (for example drumming), shifting brainwavesuntil they moves into synchronization.

Brainwave Entrainment technologies capitalize on this Frequency Following Response (FFR) tohelp guide the listener into a more desirable state. A number of different methods are used,including...

  Binaural Beats: Binaural beats are two frequencies played at the same time to produce a

third frequency that is used to entrain brainwaves. For instance, a 340 Hz sound played inone ear and a 350 Hz in the other would produce a 10 Hz wave which, in turn, entrainsthe wakeful relaxing brainwaves mentioned above. This effect is produced in the brain.  

  Monaural Beats: Monaural beats are similar to Binaural Beats in that 2 tones are used tocreate the entrainment beat. The primary difference is that the 2 tones are combined ineach of the left and right channels of the stereo field. Because Monaural Beats are not produced in the brain but rather in the sound itself, they can be heard withoutheadphones. 

  Isochronic Tones: Isochronic tones utilize equal intensity tones, varying pulse speed,and work by synchronizing the brain waves to the rhythm. It's a fine art to createIsochronic tones that are both pleasant and effective but when done well they are proving

to be a very powerful entrainment tool. 

  Proprietary Technologies: Research into new more effective brain wave entrainmentmethods continues and we are at the forefront. Our Super Mind Music uses specialcombinations of the above technologies in addition to other proprietary methods that allaim to give the listener an ever more enjoyable, powerful experience.

Another benefit to regular brainwave entrainment listening not mentioned above is that in orderto enable the entrainment to take place, new neural connections (synapses) are formed betweenthe neurons. These synapses enable many new pathways for information to travel, which in turnincreases both the flexibility, creativity, and information holding capabilities of the brain.

In other words, listening to brainwave entrainment, just by its nature, makes you smarter.

Which is very handy when our goal is to upgrade our Minds  

Develop the brain of the most successful people in the world… 

The brain contains 2 halves known as hemispheres. The left brain controls the right side of the body and vice versa. 

The left brain is the source of logic and rational thought. It remembers detail and measures time.We use it to talk and read.

The right brain is the source of free thinking, intuition, creativity, inspiration, emotion andmusic.

Our current education system has been designed to create a right handed society that isdominated by our left brain. A society dominated by theleft brain is more easily controlled.

With brainwave entrainment, when you play one pulse inone ear, and a different one in the other ear, the left andthe right side of your brain have to work together to ‘hear’

the 3rd signal. For example as we just said, a 340 Hzsound played in one ear and a 350 Hz in the other would

 produce a frequency of 10 HzThe more you use brainwave entrainment, the more youhave both halves of your brain working together, knownas whole brain functioning, and the long term benefits ofthis are amazing...

Once the brain is operating at this higher level of functioning, you become a more aware, alert,and conscious. You create a new and improved perception of reality.

Lush L ife: Ambient Chil l and Dream Trip

We expect that if you have been on this self-improvement journey for any length of time youhave been exposed to the idea that we create our reality from our beliefs, and critical to usupgrading our life, is to unearth and release the beliefs that have been limiting us.

 Lush Life 1 and 2 (Both designed to do the same thing) have been created to help release theselimiting beliefs. 

(Quick note: Just about every audio in this system was created to be able to listen to while doingother things –  so that you can get the benefit while still getting on with your day to day to do list.These audios are an exception. The Brain Wave Entrainment on both audios is exactly the same, it is just the music that isdifferent. Different people have different tastes and we didn’t want anyone to not take advantageof this technology because they didn’t like the music.

* If you love the audio the first time you listen –  fabulous* If you hate it within moments of listening –  terrific* If you feel kind of numb or neutral, listen again …and again. The numbness will pass

Recommendations for Optimum Use…

DO NOT…

  Attempt quiet meditation practices –  at least not during the first 20 minutes of the audio.At the same time peaceful yoga or Tai Chi or any other exercise that works to quiet the

mind is not recommended. These practices are out of sync with the purpose of the audioand may create agitation and/or frustration.

  Watch TV or Read a Book or Emails –  these audios will make you more susceptible tooutside influences. You want to uncover what you are holding inside –  not add to it.

  Drive, operate heavy machinery, or do anything that may cause harm (save chopping thevegetables until after you finish the audio)

  Give up if you hate it the first time you listen. You deserve to live your Highest and BestLife and this program will help you get there.

DO….

Set a FOCUS before you begin. Decide before each session what you wish to work on and thenwrite it down or speak it out loud. What is it you want more of? What do you want to create?Where can you use more clarity?

Examples of awesome focus statements include…

  What do I need to understand to allow more financial abundance in my life?

  What am I hiding from myself –  that if I understood it clearly, would allow me tomanifest my Dream Relationship?

  In what ways can I bring total healing to “ “ (fill in with physical, emotional, financial

issue)  How can life get even better than this?

  What do I need to understand to manifest my perfect vacation?

Once you have your focus you now have two choices on how to proceed –  either throughmovement or through the written word.

MOVE

If you want to move then put your headphones on, turn on the Lush Life audio and walk, or jog,or dance or row a boat. And while you are moving let yourself talk to yourself, either in your

head, or if you dare out-loud.

Talk about whatever comes up but keep the talking and moving going for at least 20 minutes.Don’t try to f ix or solve anything. Just allow yourself to give voice to everything that comes intoyour head.

You will be surprised by what comes up if you let it…

After about 20 minutes the brain wave entrainment is designed to allow for quiet. It is here whereyou can slow things down –  to get still –  to allow for more listening and less/no talking. Don’t

expect immediate answers –  just be open and curious for whatever happens.

WRITE

My favorite way to use these audios iswith pen and paper and the powerful process of questioning.

To begin the process put in yourheadphones, turn on the Lush Life album, and take a deep breath andthen…

Spend 1-3 minutes (no more) getting the“gunk” up and out onto the paper. State the worry, the problem and the negative emotions youhave surrounding it. Let it all out using as strong a language as you dare. Don’t hide any of it

from yourself. Don’t pretend it’s ok when it’s not. Whine, scream, complain. For instance….

 I “***” don’t know how to pay these credit card bills. They are overdue and I see no solution in sight. Every time I pass the pile on the counter my stomach clenches and I feel like I am about to scream. I can’t believe I let it get so bad and every time I try and figure out what to do my brain

 gets foggy and I just want to cry.

1-3 minutes is all it takes to get it out. After that the magic begins…

“Pretend” that every question you are about to ask will be answered by a loving all powerful presence that has the power to move mountains, and will …at your r equest. Imagine that this presence will provide the answers to the questions you ask, but only the questions you ask…

So you want those questions to be focused quite specifically on the successful completion ofyour goal. Asking questions about the why the problem exists will not solve the problem, it willsimply make the problem more important.

The following are examples of questions that will not bring you closer to a solution….

  Why was I so stupid to get myself into this mess?

  Why did I let this happen to me?

  Why are the Credit Card companies so mean?

   How long will it take before I really go crazy?

  Will they take me away and put me in a padded cell if I start to scream and don’t stop?

Do you really need the answer to any of those questions? What purpose will it serve? Will it getthose credit card bills paid off?

 Now –  how about some questions worth answering –  such as…

  What steps can I take to get these bills paid in full?

  What one step can I take now to get my finances in order?

  Who can I call that may be willing to help?

   In what ways can I allow more abundance into my life?

   How can I become more aware of the miracles in my life now?

  What have I been hiding from myself, that if I allowed myself to see it, would enable meto receive the abundance I crave?

  What steps can I take to feel more abundant now?

   Am I safe now?

   In what ways will the Universe positively surprise me today?

 

Where can I save some money each month that can be used toward the bills?

  What will I do with a positive cash flow?

  What bold step can I take right now that will bring more cash into my life?

   How can I bring more ease into my life? More fun? More love?

Continue to write these questions for about 20 minutes. Do not attempt to come up with answers(though if they show up write them down) Just ask the questions and allow yourself to relax andhave fun with it.

And then get quiet. Put the pen down, close your eyes and just relax. Do not attempt to force

anything. If thoughts come pay attention –  but do not expect anything. Just get soft and curiousand allow. And then go about your day.

Do not give up on the process. Even when it appears like nothing is happening keep going backto it –  do it a minimum of 21 times before you decide it does or does not work for you.

The more you invest in this one process, the more you will clear your mind of the limitingthoughts and beliefs that have kept you small and the more successful you will find yourvisualizations to be.

 Elemental Dreams: Celtic Reiki, one of the newest Super Mind Music Albums has beenspecifically created to help you manifest using the 4 elements. There are 4 tracks:

* Reiki Fire stimulates the left and right brain separately. It was designed to stimulate thecreative side of your brain to transform limiting beliefs and then bring the transformations up tothe conscious level.

Release the Gunk: Cool F unk and Hot Funk

 Release the Gunk  is another audio set specifically designed to clear your mind of the negativitythat had in the past held you back.

This audio is designed to take the sting out of past memories –  even the most traumatic ones.

Ok –  So now for the instructions on how to use the audio… 

The Process: 

1) If you are experiencing a general state of unease –  or discomfort –  or fear then all youwant to do is listen to the audio all the way through –  from beginning to end. The audio containsa series of dissociation patterns that can help you pull that unease right out of your space. It isalso designed to lead you into a very organized state of high beta towards the end of the audio –  which is where you can start generating some feel good neurochemicals which is a very good

thing

If your normal state is generally one of unease then regular use of this audio will help you moveinto a new –  more positive, happy normal state.

Cool, right?

2) If you are dealing with past memories that are interfering with your peace of mind thenyou want to bring those memories, one at a time, with you when you listen to either of the audios(did I mention that this product is two audios, each with the same brain wave entrainment, butwith different music, so you get to pick and choose depending upon mood or preference).

Allow yourself to keep replaying the memory as many times as you like as you listen (alwayswith headphones) to Release the Gunk. The brain wave entrainment will be continually workingto dissociate the emotions from the memory, and as it does you may find that you begin to get bored with replaying that memory over and over again …and that’s when the fun begins. 

Because that is when you start to play with the memory, and there are quite a few ways you cando it, you can….

Play the memory backwards in your mind –  just rewind it2.  You can pull the color right out of it –  just turn it all gray –  and then begin to lighten the

gray

3.  If the memory is of a conversation you can change the speaking voice(s) to somethingfun –  or silly –  or hard to take serious (Donald Duck anyone?)

4.  You can shrink the main villains in the memory –  shrink them right down until they fitinto the palm of your hand

Essentially play with the memory in whatever ways feel good –  because these mind games will be working with the dissociative properties of the audio to completely take the sting out of thememory.

When you have had enough of the memory (hmmmm, is it possible it just doesn’t feel that

important anymore?) then just kick back and enjoy the remaining minutes of the recording.

We recommend processing just one memory per listening –  and giving yourself some time before working on another one. It’s important to give your mind some processing time, which

will extend past the length of the audio (how long depends upon the intensity of the memory, andthe individual, but a few hours is a good rule of thumb)

It is possible that one session is all it will take to completely take the sting out of even your mosttroubling memory, but it is just as likely several sessions may be required. If that’s the case thenI expect you will notice that each session will get easier and it won’t be long before you begin

asking yourself what the big deal was

3) If it’s future fears that keep you up all night then those are the ones you take with you intothe session.

Fear speaking in public? Not for long. Just put the headphones on, begin the recording, and startto imagine a future public speaking event.

For as long as you want play out the worst case scenarios in your mind –  from as many differentangles as you can imagine. See yourselffumbling for the words. Listen as people putyou down. Even see yourself faint right therein front of all those people. Whatever yourfears, play them out in your mind, over and

over and over. For as long as you find itinteresting to do.

And then start playing with script in the sameways recommended for past memories. Playthe story backwards, pull the color out of it,make the audience very small, or turn themall into cute kittens.

…and then… 

Begin to imagine some better scenarios. Put yourself back in front of a huge audience only thistime see yourself as confident, capable, entertaining and informative. See the audience paying

attention and nodding in agreement. Allow yourself to imagine what it will feel like to know youare doing a phenomenal job, and loving it.

Can it get any better than this?

Yes… 

…Because there is a little bit more to these audios than just some dissociation patterns and a feel

good ending.

During much of this audio you will be entrained into a low Theta, almost a Delta brain wavestate, which is not only a great place to be for letting negativity go. OK –  we know that was a lot to take in –  especially on Day 1. But don’t worry, this first report

is the longest. Why don’t you go and get a glass of water, stretch, take a walk and then come back for Day 2

Some General Guidelines When Listening to the Super Mind Music Audios There is no one right way to listen to the Super Mind Music audios but we do have some generalguidelines to help you get the most out of your experience:

1) Use headphones unless otherwise specifically stated. Most of our audios are created withdifferent sounds coming from the left and right channel, and it is how the brain processes thisdifferent information that creates the BWE effect.

You can absolutely listen to the Super Mind Music Albums while doing other things, but pleasedon't do anything that could create injury (no operating heavy equipment or chopping vegetables please). Whether you realize it or not the audios move you into an altered state of consciousness.

2) With each of the audios there is a short term and a long term effect. In the short term (whilelistening and immediately after) you can expect to receive some level of the benefits describedfor the individual audio and you can also expect those benefits to increase with repeat listening.

Maximum benefits are achieved after listening daily for approximately 30 days. This is how longit is estimated to take for the new neural synapses to take root and the new way of thinking to become somewhat habitualized.

Continued listening after the 30 days is encouraged as often as you like, not only because themusic is so beautiful to listen to, but also because continued listening will strengthen and furtherincrease the permanence of the audio’s effect.

5) Please do not listen to any of our BWE audios on repeat through the night. For one, we believe strongly in our total listen time guidelines. Secondly, the brain also needs some quiettime to process and if it is being fed bwe (or affirmation audios or subliminals) throughout the

night than this is not possible and much of the benefits of the audios may be lost.

o  Seeing my book on the New York Bestseller’s list feels phenomenal. 

o  I feel sexy and healthy at my ideal weight of (fill in the blank)

 Now that you have your goal statement it is time to play with it by writing it down –  over andover and over again. But don’t just write it down, make it your own. For the duration of theaudios in Shortcuts to Success (and every day for at least 21 days) get out your markers andcolored pencil and have that goal statement come alive on the paper. Doodle it, write it out with block letter or in script. Use different colors for different words, or change the color with eachrepeat.

Basic Rule #3

Always allow for surprises. Our small ego minds continue to try and keep us contained,

constricted, limited. The Nobel Question is a fabulous way of allowing the Infinite Universe to

surprise and delight us in ways that wouldn’t be possible if we didn’t allow for the seemingly

impossible in our lives.

   In what wonderful ways is the world going to surprise me today? 

  What limitations can I let go of today that will allow even greater wonders into my life?  

  What genius have I been hiding from myself that I can tap into to make the world an even

 greater place to be? 

When and How to Use the Nobel Question

The simple truth is that there are many ways you can incorporate the art of the Nobel Question

into your life. Some of the most powerful include… 

  Beginning and ending your day with Nobel Questions such as… 

o   In what ways will today be even better then yesterday? 

o  What can I celebrate about this wonderful day I just lived?  

  Using Nobel Questions throughout the day whenever you notice your energy drop

o  What can I do right now that will broaden my smile? 

o   In what ways can I get even more motivated in this moment? 

What other ideas can I contemplate that will make this moment even better?  

  Scheduling 5-10 minutes every day to write as many Nobel Questions as you can, as

quickly as you can, concerning all areas of your life. This is one of my favorite exercises

and when you begin to do it yourself you will soon learn why. This exercise is like

taking a feel good drug without any side effects. It sometimes takes a few minutes to

take effect but after that the good feelings just keep coming –  and coming –  and coming

 

I know, there is already a lot to digest and we are only on Day 2. What’s great about this system

is that you can pick and choose which audios and processes you want to work with first and save

the others for another time. Each audio is different and does not depend upon first listening to

another for it to be effective. Just begin with what you are most interested in and allow the magic

to work.

It's difficult to work towards your dreams when you're feeling stressed... Maybe you're worried

about your job or money, or the problems of the world stress you out too often?

Stress isn't just a state of mind. It can also seriously harm the body. According to the research of

Dr Bruce Lipton, 95% of all illnesses are related to stress.

Stress activates the sympathetic nervous system and turns up the activity in the adrenal glands. It

tells the body that danger is lurking and the body responds by pulling resources from day to day

activities (like digestion) and moves them to the areas that are needed in life and death situations

 –  like the limbs so you can run or fight.

When the body is in a chronic stress state internal organs are not getting the blood and oxygen

they need for optimal long term performance. The muscles tighten in a state of continuous

tension, blood pressure increases and the body gets locked into a continuous cyclic fear state.

Chronic stress also significantly affects the ability to process information, or make rational longterm decisions.

As reported in the Huffington Post, Researchers from Carnegie Mellon University found that

feeling stressed is linked to the immune’s systems ability to regulate inflammation. 

In other words, long term stress sets up chronic inflammation which has been linked to almost

every major disease, including cancer, heart disease, and autoimmune dysfunction.

It even affects the body’s ability to combat the common cold. 

If you are getting the idea that stress “kills” or at least drastically shortens a person’s life

expectancy than you are absolutely correct.

All of this is great news  

Why?

Because when you make the Super Mind Music Albums presented here a regular part of your day

A great activity to accompany these audios is a gentle focus on the breath.

A human can go weeks without food and days without water but a few minutes without air is all

that it takes before the body shuts down.

Most people don’t focus much on the breath, believing that the fact that they are walking aroundis proof enough that they are breathing –  and if they are breathing all is ok.

But stress limits our ability to breathe well. The average pair of lungs is designed to hold almost

2 gallons of air. Most people take in only 2-3 pints. The oxygen in the air we breathe is what is

used to convert the fuel (food) we take in into energy. If we don’t take in the oxygen, the fuel

does not convert and sits in our system as toxic waste.

Did you know that 70% of all waste in our bodies is eliminated through respiration? When we

don’t breath effectively we cannot eliminate the waste which then finds different places in our

 bodies to hang out, creating all sorts of physical issues including excess weight and fatigue from

having to find ways to handle all the extra unburned fuel.

We are not breath experts (at least not yet, though it is becoming a new passion) but we have

found the following exercise to be simple and quite profound… 

  Commit at least 15 minutes. No matter what your mind tells you about needing to

move or that you are wasting your time make the commitment to be with this

 breath for at least 15 minutes.

  Put on Blissful Meditation or Soothe Your Soul , put on your headphones and lie

down. I recommend the floor as opposed to the bed. This exercise requires you

to remain relaxed and aware and the bed often signals the body it is time to sleep. 

  Use a pillow and cover yourself with a blanket. As the body relaxes and blood

 pressure drops you may find that the body begins to feel a bit colder. The blanket

 provides the extra warmth.

  Close your eyes and watch your breath moving slowly into a state that is known

as the continuous breath. Eliminate all space between the in breath and the out

 breath. Don’t attempt to control the speed, no need to count or control. Just

eliminate the pause.

  As much as you can let go of all control of the out breath, just let it go.

  Breathe in and out through your nose, or if that is not possible, breath in and out

through the mouth. Whichever you choose, make it the same for the in and the

out.

  Relax and remain aware…. 

As you move deeper into this practice the breath will begin to naturally flow where it is most

needed and you may discover that you are experiencing some interesting physical and/or

emotional effects. You are bringing much needed oxygen to areas of your body that had been

starved for a long time, and as the oxygen flows tension and what was stuck underneath will begin to release. Just keep reminding yourself that you are breathing and all is well and stay

committed to the 15 minutes or more (commit to one complete listen of the audio of your

choice).

I have made this breath part of my daily routine and have been staggered by the effect. Not only

am I more relaxed, I have become more flexible and have even lost weight (can you imagine –  a

weight loss program that requires nothing but learning how to breath).

By the way, there is a ton of phenomenal resources out there about the breath and I hope many of

you decide to do your own research and learn much more about the wonders of the breath. Agood place to start (and not just for those looking to lose weight) is Pam Grout’s Jumpstart Your

Metabolism: How to Lose Weight by Changing the Way You Breath. She has a very easy to

read style, lots of valuable information, and many types of breathing exercises for you to

experiment with.

Other studies have shown that just sitting in close contact with a partner for 10 minutes lowers

 blood pressure in woman and that physical contact can trigger a boost in serotonin, a natural anti-

depressant.

A great way to pass the time while listening to Calm Mind  is to work on your Gratitude Journal. 

Don’t have one yet? Well now is the best time to get it started. 

Any notebook of any quality will do –  as long as there is paper to write on and a pen or pencil,marker or crayon to write with. You can even keep your gratitude journal on the computer, but personally I think it is more personal and heart centered to write it out by hand.

Before beginning to write in your gratitude journal take a few moments to close your eyes and breathe into your heart center. Just allow yourself to sink into your heart and feel grateful foreach breath (without them you wouldn’t be here ) 

When you are ready, open your eyes and begin to list the things you are grateful for today.

Can’t think of anything? Really? 

A number of years ago I checked a Louise Hay meditation audio out at the library and I willnever forget the morning gratitude meditation that was on it.

Louise reminded me to be thankful for my warm bed, the electric lights, the hot and cold runningwater. And then when she commented that 100 years ago the Queen of England didn’t have aflush toilet I was immediately transported to that space where I knew just how blessed my life is.

I have a flush toilet, do you? There is a box in my home that keeps my food cold and a roof thatkeeps the rain from my head. I have ten fingers and ten toes and they all work.

As I sit here, typing on a computer that I am very grateful for, I can hear bird song out mywindow. My eyes work, as do my ears and I still have teeth that allow me to eat the meal that Iwill nourish myself with in a few minutes.

This morning I had a wonderful conversation with a friend, and earlier I was able to take a walkwith my daughter and her friend and we all had a great time… 

Perhaps that’s more than you wanted to hear about my life, but once I start counting all that I amgrateful for it begins to snowball, and the more I list the better I feel, and the better I feel themore I list and…… 

This activity alone will release feel good chemicals into your system and what can be better thanthat?

Unwind Your M ind: Ambient Journey

Unwind Your Mind  is a beautiful 29 minute long mix that has wonderful energy and speed. The brainwave entrainment helps with relaxation and stress relief. These frequencies also have asecondary effect; they act as mood enhancers for most people. The music is a relaxing ambient

 journey of chill out tunes mixed with ethereal soundscapes. 

You can listen to this music while doing your day to day activities, or you can couple it with a powerful technique which I like to call the Mind Dump. 

The Mind Dump is an effective way to quiet an anxious mind, to release those thoughts that tendto circle around and around, trapped in our head whenever life seems to be getting out of control.And it’s easy.

You just need paper (unlined works great here) a pen and the ability to write.

What do you do?

You write it down. Whatever is in your head you put it on the paper. You write as fast and for

as long as the thoughts run rampant. If it’s the same thoughts that keep popping up you just keep

 putting them down.

You do not sensor. You do not judge or analyze or figure it out. You just keep writing until

there is nothing else to write.

And then… 

You throw the paper away. If you want you can burn it or shred it or bury it, but don’t make anydrawn out kind of ceremony out of it. Essentially all you have done was take the garbage

thoughts that were sitting between you and your sense of peace and connection and you gave

them a place to go.

You un-trapped them from your head.

 Now, please be aware that I am not saying you do this once and you will never be plagued by the

monkey mind again. Those surface repeating thoughts have been around, for most of us, much

of our lives, and they are habitual, and they can be triggered by outside events.

What I am saying is that the Mind Dump removes them in the moment, and will, in an amazinglyshort period of time, quiet your mind for longer and longer stretches of time. And I am saying

that eventually you may find that there is nothing left to dump. All the thoughts that remain are

the thoughts that feel good, that bring you closer and closer to your ideal life.

A simple tool that can transform your world.

Isn’t it true that often when we are not feeling well we just want someone or something to come

and make the pain go away. We don’t want to work or think or have to do anything, we just want

to hand it all over and rest and be well.

If that is where you are now than read no further. Just turn any of the recordings on in this

section, snuggle up and let go. Don’t concern yourself with which one will be best, or decide youhave to be focused in a certain way or understand how it works.

Just allow the beauty and magic of these recordings wash over and soothe you. Allow yourself to

drift into either a light or deep sleep and trust that your body is getting what it needs to return to

its natural state of wellness.

Your body is its own best healer. When left to its own

devices it knows what to do to maintain wellness and

will do whatever is necessary to continue to return to

wholeness and balance.

Much of the body’s recovery and maintenance takes

 place while the conscious mind is in deep sleep, ie the

Delta State. It is during delta that the body produces the

chemicals required to decrease inflammation as well as

the overall amount of cortisol (stress hormone) in your

system. While your brain is in a deep delta pattern the

 body produces the anti-aging hormones melatonin and

DHEA, as well as Human growth hormone (HGH). The

skin, bone density, cartilage and joints of your body aremaintained by HGH, and overall healing is increased.

One of the first things that occur within the system of someone with an anti-flammatory or

chronic illness is that they are no longer able to move into and maintain the delta brainwave

 pattern. By not being able to rest in delta, the body cannot do what is needed to maintain health.

This results in an increase in disharmony within the physical body which increases the general

stress levels, and this makes it even more critical for the body to move into the delta state of

rejuvenation and healing.

The first key to working with these audios in an aware meditative state is to not lie down, and

especially do not lie down in bed. You want to put yourself in a relaxed comfortable position but

not so relaxed that you drift off into consciousness. 

Once you have gotten comfortable put on the headphones, turn on the audio at a volume

comfortable for you, and then practice any one of the following mindfulness meditationtechniques… 

1)  Begin by closing your eyes and watching your breath. Remind yourself to relax and then

start to pay attention to any thoughts that show up. Do not attempt to change the thoughts

or analyze them, just notice them. Become curious about what thought shows up next.

You can ask yourself questions like, “ I wonder what the next thought will be” or “I

wonder where that thought had been hiding”.  After a while the thoughts will tend to

slow down and that is great. Just keep waiting for the next one to appear. 

2) 

Watching your breath for a moment or two is also the way to begin this second technique.As you watch your breath without attempting to change it you will discover that it

naturally begins to slow and deepen. Remind yourself to relax and then, with curiosity,

 begin to notice how the different parts of your body feel. Bring your attention to your feet

for several breaths and note what is being experienced there. Pay attention to whether or

not the sensations in the feet remain the same or change with each breath. Then move

your attention to your calves, your knees, your thighs –  each time resting for as many

 breaths as feel comfortable and noticing whatever there is to notice.

Continue to work yourself slowly up your body and once you reach the top of your head

allow your focus to move where ever it wants within the body. Get curious about thesensations and just watch to see what happens.

3)  For this third exercise you may keep your eyes either open or closed. As before begin

with the breath and allow it to naturally slow and deepen. And then ask yourself the

following questions and after each question allow the space for whatever answers show

up to appear.

  What do I see in this moment now?

  What do I hear?

  What can I smell?

  What do I feel?

  What do I know for sure?

Mindfulness Meditation practices are designed to bring your focus entirely into the present

moment. If you take even a moment to think about it you will discover that things are always ok

in the present moment (just ask yourself at any given moment, Am I OK Now?). What you will

discover is that all the thoughts that tell you things are not OK are either buried in the past (I

can’t believe he did that to me) or projecting out into the future (how I am going to pay the bill

due tomorrow). 

An article in the Huffington Post has identified the studies that have shown the following

 benefits of a Mindfulness practice…

  A decrease in levels of depression in pregnant woman and teenagers

  A decrease in a sense of loneliness in the elderly

You step inside and are welcomed by abeautiful being who identifies him or herself as the healer. You describe your concernsand with a knowing smile the healer assures you that all is well and you will be helped.

The healer either then gives you the information you need for your healing, or he brings you to a healing table where he does whatever he does to enable you to move into a spacea wellness, vitality and balance.

When he is done you give your thanks, share a hug, and begin your trip back to your starting place. When you are ready you can wiggle your toes and fingers and open your

eyes and smile (just because). If the healer shared any information with you that youwant to remember now would be the time to write it down.

Or… 

Close your eyes, watch your breath for a few moments, and then allow the breath to take you deep into your physical body to a space within the brain that is called the “commandcenter”. 

 From the command center you can access information about all the processes taking place within the body. If you like, you can visualize it as a large bank of monitors, eachone tracking a different part of the physical body.

Sitting in front of this bank of monitors is the commander, the one who monitors all the functions and knows how to fine tune and adjust all the knobs and switches sitting in frontof him for optimal affect.

To date, he has been taking his commands based upon the unconscious mind as well as your inner mind chatter that he is always aware of.

 But now he is going to take his commands directly from you.Very clearly describe how you want the body to perform and watch as he makes thechanges necessary to make it happen. Tell him what you want the heart rate to be, how you want the body to respond to every day stresses, and in what ways you want specificorgans to respond.

 Let him know that the world is safe and that it is appropriate and required that he standdown from the flight or fight mode previous conditioning has required of him, and that hecan now move into optimal long term maintenance and rejuvenation and repair.

 And let him know how appreciative you are of all the wonderful things he has done tokeep you as healthy as you are.

 Promise to connect and visit often and consider sharing a hug before you leave on thenext breath.

 Move yourself out with the breath and allow yourself to become aware of the wholenessof your being. Wiggle your fingers and your toes and when you are ready open your eyesand brighten your smile.

Both of these visualizations, and any other similar ones (you can allow your imagination to runwild here) are phenomenal ways for you to connect with your other than conscious mind, to notonly get any information you need to aid you in your conscious healing journey, but to open upto the mind’s ability to heal the body when it is given proper instruction. 

And if nothing else, these visualizations are fun and very relaxing. And the more you allow

yourself to make them real the more relaxing they become. As we discussed in yesterday’sreport, relaxing and releasing stress is a very powerful way to allow the body to heal.

Brain wave entrainment audios are not the only way one can enter a relaxed, meditative healingstate.

What are chakras?

'Chakra is a Sanskrit word, and it means wheel, or vortex, because that's what it looks like. Eachchakra is like a solid ball of energy interpenetrating the physical body, in the same way that amagnetic field can interpenetrate the physical body.

The chakras are not physical. They are aspects of consciousness in the same way that the aurasare aspects of consciousness. The chakras are more dense than the auras, but not as dense as the physical body. They interact with the physical body through two major transport systems, theendocrine system and the nervous system.

Your consciousness, your experience of being, represents everything it is possible for you toexperience. All of your senses, all of your perceptions, all of your possible states of awareness,can be divided into seven categories, and each of these categories can be associated with a particular chakra.

Thus, the chakras represent not only particular parts of your physical body, but also particular parts of your consciousness...

When there is tension in a particular part of your consciousness, and therefore in the chakraassociated with that part of your consciousness, the tension is detected by the nerves of the plexus associated with that chakra, and communicated to the parts of the body controlled by that plexus. When the tension continues over a period of time, or reaches a particular degree ofintensity, the person creates a symptom on the physical level.

Again, the symptom served to communicate to the person through their body what they had beendoing to themselves in their consciousness. When the person changes something about their wayof being, they are able to release the stress that had been creating the symptom, and they are thenable to return to their natural state of balance and health.' How Chakra Music Can Help You

Before understanding how chakra music can help us, we must first understand what the sevenchakras are and their significance to our lives.

In our bodies, we have seven main energy centers which allow energy to flow throughout the body. The seven chakras are:

Each chakra has a different purpose. The Root Chakracontrols our feeling of well-being and survival, while theSacral Chakra regulates our connections with others andour feelings. The Solar Plexus Chakra is strongly related toour intellect, self-confidence, and ego. The Heart Chakra isall about love - relationships, forgiveness, compassion, andself-acceptance. The Throat Chakra controls how weexpress ourselves and our relationships with others, whilethe Third Eye Chakra regulates our intuition and psychicabilities. Finally, the Crown Chakra helps us with ourspirituality and our connection to the spiritual world, aswell as our consciousness, our subconsciousness, and thesuperconsciousness.

When all of the seven chakras are balanced and in harmony, our brain and our bodies, as well asour health, are at optimal performance. Stress can put the chakras at an imbalance, causingvarious health problems. There are various methods that can balance each chakra individually, but a great way to balance all seven chakras at the same time is to listen to chakra music.

Chakra music can help straighten out the balance of the seven chakras, which might help youfeel energized and ready to face the world. This is done through its frequencies. A piece ofchakra music will include several different frequencies - each frequency will focus on a specificchakra.

How to take a shamanic journey

1) Before every journey decide, specifically, on what you want to get out of the ShamanicJourney and create a single sentence that you repeat over and over to yourself as you begin the

 process. Some possible sentences you can use are... a) What do I need to know in order to heal this specific issue

 b) In what ways can I more powerfully serve?

c) What is my Life Purpose and what steps can I take now to bring it into reality?

2) Create in your mind a beautiful Nature Scene in which to begin your Shamanic Journey. Giveit as much detail as you can and imagine that you are there and begin to repeat your intentionstatement.

3) Enter into a trance state by whatever means you have available. It is this step that many peoplecan get stuck at, but the Shamanic Journey audio will help ease your mind into a deep consciousTrance State.

4) Continue to repeat your intention statement as you enter trance, and then (after about 5minutes) imagine a door appearing in front of you. You can make the door as simple or aselaborate as you want.

5) When you are ready open the door and step through. On the other side of the door you willfind the answers you seek. The answers may come from spirit guides or ancestors or perhapseven a Power Animal (a spirit guide in animal form). You may be taken on a journey, shown avision, or perhaps just be given a word or two. There is no right result on a journey and only the person on the Shamanic Journey can fully evaluate its meaning.

6) At the end of the journey step back through the door and into the original nature scene. Takeyour time moving back into full consciousness - and as soon as you can grab a pen and some paper and write down everything you remember, including your initial feelings about theexperience. This step is important because it will help you more fully integrate the experienceand remember its meaning.

The brainwave entrainment in both albums is designed to do the same –  raise your consciousnesslevels to higher dimensions, love, peace and joy.

Most of us have a set of unique fears that relate to our own lives, like concerns about loved ones,financial worries and so on. One of the most common fears is the fear of death, but fear not –  youare spirit. This life is just one of many journeys you will take in your soul’s evolution… 

Aside from people’s personal fears, there are also many “universal” fears –  or perhaps you mightcall them “collective” fears –  that are communicated to us through our environment.

These fears often relate to situations and events that leave us feeling vulnerable and defenseless,such as worldwide 'pandemics' (...and 'vaccines'), 'terrorist' attacks, economic and financialcrises, and so on.

 Not only do we see and hear constant references to these frightening scenarios in the media andfrom the people around us...

...the energy of coll ective fears also seeps in to the very f abric of our reali ty (the quantum f ield)

and continues to resonate around and wi thin us. 

Since we are all connected to the collective consciousness, we can actually absorb this “fear

energy” as we go about our daily lives - even if we don’t pay attention to the media hype and

Reducing the Impact of Collective Fears

An obvious first step is to stop your exposure to themainstream news broadcasts; especially when theyalways seem to contain frightening events that are

 beyond your control...Focusing on this force-fed fear programming onlymakes you feel more vulnerable and adds to the energyof the collective fear.

Certainly you can stay informed about world events but it is advisable to seek independent,unbiased news sources on the internet, and then immediately start shifting your focus tosomething less fearsome.

1. DON’T give away your power to people. Take responsibility for your life. If things aren’t

 Music Albums that can be used to awaken you into a world that your rational conscious mind

will attempt to convince you is not real.  

You can listen to that rational mind, if you like. It has, after all, been instrumental in getting you

where you are today.

If, however, you are ready to step into the magical world of Spirit than we suggest you shelf

2) For Clarity  

Bring a journal to your session and before you begin listening take a few moments to write outsome questions pertaining to some area of your life you want clarity on.

Ok –  I can feel it. At least some of you reading this just shut down at the thought of a SpiritGuide, right? The idea of a benevolent non-physical being available to provide you support andguidance is beyond your current belief structure.

It wasn’t that long ago (~ 12 years) that I would have been right there with you. I also recognizethat until you have your own personal, cannot be explained any other way, experience with a

Spirit Guide, you will remain skeptical.

 No pro blem… 

Why?

Because we can use the same process to connect with your “other than conscious mind”. The part of you connected with the Energetic Matrix that science has already proven to be real andthat connects us all.

The Process…. 

1)  Grab a pen and a pad and take no more than 3-5 minutes to formulate and write downyour question. Include the statement "for the Highest Best of All Involved". This will

insure that the answers you receive come from a high vibrational source.2)  Read the question over to yourself several times as you close your eyes and watch your

 breath.

3)  Allow the music to create a place in nature in your mind and imagine yourself there

4)  As you explore your surroundings you will notice in the distance that there is a beingwaiting for you. This is either your spirit guide, or a convenient form your Higher LevelConsciousness has created to ease communication. It doesn’t matter, either will be

effective.

5)  Approach the being, greet him or her and ask your question

Spir it Guide:Unforgettable Moments

The brainwave entrainment focuses mainly on the theta level of 7.5 Hz. This frequency is said to be perfect to contact spirit guides for direction, as well as creativity, problem solving, andawareness of self and purpose. 

This audio is wonderful to listen to when you just want to feel connected to the world at large. Italso makes a great accompaniment to any of the processes already discussed.

Or you can use it to help connect you with your Higher Purpose.

To do this it is once again time to get out the pen and journal. Of all the processes we haveworked with and developed over the years, putting words to paper has proven, over and over, to be one of the most powerful and transformative.

To get clarity and direction on your Higher Purpose you will write out and then answer the

following questions. Allow the answers to come in their own time, write whatever comes tomind, and don’t censor. Though this is a more formal process than the journaling exercisesdescribed previously, it is still not one designed for the rational mind. Allow the process to takeas long as it is going to take.
