•refers to a perceived second-generation of Web-based services

•Think of it as read/write - COLLABORATION instead of just read!

•A blog is a journal that is available on the web. It allows people with little or no technical background to update and maintain the blog.

You do not have to have an iPod or iTunes to hear a podcast.
