• Register for Classes• Priority Registration
• Degree requirements
• Undergraduate Academic Program Guide
• Work with your advisors (academic & VA)
Necessary Forms
• FSU Request for Benefits form• Required each semester
• Post 9/11 CoE OR Award Letter
• One for each semester
• Summer multiple terms – 1 form
• VA Tuition Deferment form• Post 9/11 automatic with Request form
• All other chapters, form is required
• Out of State Tuition Waiver Form• Residency vs OOS Waiver
• Documentation • Currently reside in Florida
Deadlines
• Requesting Benefits• Can be up to 1 year after the start of
the term, earlier the better
• Post 9/11 deferments must have request before processing
• Deferment deadline 5th day of class
• Expires the Friday before finals week
• Watch your accounts, you are ultimately responsible for payment
FSU Health Insurance
• Post 9/11 does cover FSU health insurance
• Must be using benefits• Tricare vs FSU health insurance
• Questions regarding Tricare • should be addressed to University

Dropping a class
• Monetary Penalties• To the school and VA
• Bright Futures & VA = $$

• Last stop is SVC
• SVC will process drop
Major Changes
• SVC tracking by major• Start with your Academic Advisor
