2. Determine the quality of the market for financing in a market (tribal) area

3. Assess the demand for a range of financial products and services in each market area

4. Provide key findings and product recommendations for a potential CDFI in the overall Utah market area.

5. Evaluate the development and financing of the vehicle(s) such as a CDFI to meet tribal needs.

– Include an analysis of tribal capacities and infrastructure needed for the vehicle to function effectively

Goals

1. Identify key opinion leaders for onsite interviews• Interviews with key opinion leaders• Creation of a survey instrument• Delivery of surveys2. Collect primary surveys and onsite interviews from a

representative sample of potential reservation participants and borrowers as well as officials with existing housing and small business development programs serving the participating tribes.

3. Conduct an environmental scan to assess existing sources and types of credit and financial services for each reservation

4. Analyze data and generate report• Census data and other (tribal) to determine basic

demographics of each community• Report generation with key products and service

recommendations5. Provide a monthly report to UIHC
