5mriti Kubin 'rani has said that a new 1entral Uni!ersity for 0imalayan (echnology will soon be
set up in Uttarakhand. (he 'nstitute will also ha!e international faculty.
Mrs 5mriti 'rani highlighted the need for a &ashtriya 3a!ishkar 3bhiyaan to make science
interesting for children, system of finding patents and to make parents and communities a part of
the inno!ation realm. 5he asked the 5tates to re!isit the &ight to Education 3ct in the light of
their eperiences. (he fragmentation between the Primary, 5econdary I 0igher Education
should be remo!ed and skill de!elopment should start at the school le!el while continuing upto
the higher le!els, she added. (echnology will be le!eraged for empowering the students and
