2014 BILLTRACKER: SYSTEM OVERVIEW

• Our bill tracking and fiscal notes processes remain integrated

• Billtracker captures and coordinates bill analysis across campus and includes fields, when activated, to gather fiscal note data (Becka will cover the latter next)

• Ability to view fiscal and policy analyses in user view

• Coordinated effort from UW HR and F2

BUDGET UPDATES

• When budgets are released, OPB will quickly review and discuss with State Relations

• OPB will produce budget briefs and send these out to our standard lists

• We will also post to our blog and website: OPBlog: Higher Ed Junction opb.washington.edu

• Supplemental budget session, so we expect technical corrections, targeted investments (if any) and hopefully, a fast and furious race to sine die on March 13th
