Introduction

These release notes will cover the basic information about the new features and existing

features enhancements. The updates may have an effect on your existing system. The new

updates which may affect your existing pages will be marked with an Important icon.

Please consider the effect on the existing pages when you deploy your page. For more

details, please refer to the help documents which are scheduled to be released at the time of

the update.

1. SkyVisualEditor LC Updates

Below are the updates for SkyVisualEditor LC.

1.1. Data Table

The new Data Table unit enables you to show the records of related objects on the main

object pages and to edit the records within the page. For example, you can create a helpful

component that allows you to create and edit the records of child objects on the parent

object page.

※There are some types of fields that this function is not available for. Please refer to

SkyVisualEditor help documents for more details.

■Data Table settings

1. Drag the Data Table unit from the unit tab and place it onto the canvas.

2. Set up for paging and inline editing on the property page.

1.2. Custom Button

The new unit Custom Button is a button that enables you to run JavaScript on clicking. You can

create an advanced processing Lightning component with this unit such as components that can

pass the parameters to other components in different pages upon clicking the button.

Also, the sample code for returning to the original page, opening the designated URL, and

calling the designated Apex class methods are available.

■Custom Button settings

1. Drag the Custom Button unit from unit tab and place it onto the canvas.

2. Set up for JavaScript in the OnClick property.

1.3. Builder Settings

With this function, the components can be settable on Salesforce builder tool*. This allows

you to rename the components that are already deployed from the Studio or to hide the

components that do not contain the main objects.

*Builder tool is a general term of Lightning App Builder, Community Builder and Flow Builder

etc.

1.4. Multiple lines of Free Text unit

Multiple lines are now available for the Free Text unit and messages in different lines are able

to be shown with this function. Settings of the function on Studio are also improved to make

it easier to input.

2. SkyVisualEditor VF Updates

Below are the updates for SkyVisualEditor VF.

2.1. Improvement on page transitions of LEX Important

There have been some difficulties that page transitions do not work properly as it’s setup in

the Studio when buttons and links are used. This will be resolved in this update.
