The Marketing Executive will be responsible for supporting and executing the company’s (multi brand portfolio) marketing and communication strategies in-line with sales objectives. Tasks: Implementation of Global brand strategies and objectives Working closely with Sales Managers to meet sales targets Manage, plan and implement yearly marketing initiatives for all company brands within set time frames, in-conjunction with the Marketing Steering Committee Adhere to stringent CVI and Corporate communication guidelines Distribution of marketing toolkits to suppliers Manage corporate communication, advertising, PR, CSR, Sponsorships, media relations, social media, digital and online initiatives, including artwork thereof Meet international campaign launch deadlines and objectives Together with relevant stakeholders conceptualize, plan and execute events such as product launches, conferences etc. to meet agreed company objectives Manage and assign activities to the Marketing Assistant Prepare and submit marketing reports Keep up- to-date with marketing legislation and third party user rights Education and Experience Diploma/Degree in Marketing and Design At least 3 years’ experience similar position Experience with social media, digital advertising artwork briefs, creative suite and Adobe Programmes (Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign) is a must Experience and knowledge in Trade Marketing, Account Management, Project Management, and Marketing Legislation will be an added advantage Competencies Possess the ability to take direction from multiple sources Ability to generate and conceptualize communication, advertising, marketing content Team player - hands on and willing to assist with printing, packing, distribution etc. Problem solving and think out of the box Negotiation skills Excellent people and communication skills Flexible and adaptable to change Willing to be lead and take ownership and accountability on an individual basis Attention to detail To apply for this position email your CV to Pranusha Moodley (HR Manager) at [email protected] Closing Date for Applications: 04 July 2014 2014
