7:30pm: When everyone is full from a delicious dinner, head “home” and slip on your swimsuits for an evening dip, if your rental has access to a pool. If not, cozy up on the balcony with a good book and a glass of wine.

4:00pm: Check into your vacation rental home. Get settled and familiarize yourself with the lay of the land.

5:00pm: Visit Ore House at the Pine Grove - serving Steamboat Springs’ locals and visitors great steaks and seafood since 1971.

Insider Tip: In addition to nightly dinner specials, they offer a sunset menu with reduced prices from 5 p.m. – 6 p.m.

8:00pm: After enjoying a peaceful dinner and getting stocked for the week, return to your luxurious condo for some much deserved relaxation. Start your vacation week off right with a soak in the hot tub, if your rental has access to one.

DAY ONE

DAY TWO8:00am: With the great selection of area groceries, whipping up a delicious breakfast in your condo is easy as pie!

9:30am: Pack up the family and a few snacks then head downtown to see Steamboat the way locals do: from the seat of a bike. Take a guided tour with Pedego Electric Bikes and fall in love with the Yampa Valley.

1:00pm: While downtown, grab a bite at Salt & Lime and enjoy the views of Howelsen Hill Ski Area.

Insider Tip: Be sure to request outdoor seating on the roof!

2:00pm: Downtown is loaded with shopping. Hit the local art galleries and Steamboat’s variety of gift shops located directly on US 40. Then sneak over to the The Howler for a fun alpine slide ride with great views and excitement for everyone.

4:00pm: Time to wrap up your afternoon exploring Steamboat and head back to the condo to clean up and get ready for dinner!

5:30pm: For your second dinner on the town, go to Steamboat Smokehouse. Pioneering Colorado Pit BBQ, this is definitely a local favorite.

DAY THREE7:00am: Get an early start and head to Wild West Balloon Adventures. Don’t worry about breakfast; they have you covered with a small continental breakfast and a champagne toast once you land. Enjoy the ride!

10:00am: Make the beautiful drive up to Fish Creek Falls for a 45-minute hike. Enjoy the beauty of the Aspen Groves, the roaring sound of the waterfall and the picturesque views of the two together.

12:00pm: Take a break and whip up some lunch in the condo. Sandwiches are an easy meal to prep and clean.

Insider Tip: Stock up on your favorite lunchmeat, rotisserie chicken or greens for fast sandwiches and salads.

2:00pm: Head to the downtown Old Town Hot Springs for a little water fun with the family. Experience rejuvenation in one of the eight healing mineral water pools or recreation with waterslides, aquatic climbing walls and so much more!

4:00pm: Make it an early night with happy hour drinks and appetizer specials followed by a flavorful meal at Mahogany Ridge.

Insider Tip: The twisted pretzels and ceviche are a must!

3:30pm: After soaking in the pools, it’s time to freshen up and head to happy hour! Don’t worry; the Hot Springs has showers and all you need to get ready quickly.

7:00pm: When everyone’s full and happy, head back to the rental for an early evening after an adventurous day in Steamboat. Plan for some family bonding with a game!

DAY FOUR6:30am: Have a quiet breakfast in the condo while the golfers head out to the Haymaker Golf Course for a quick nine holes on one of the most beautifully manicured golf courses in the West.

9:00am: Everyone else can head down to the base of the mountain to enjoy the Coca Cola Adventure Zone and the Burgess Creek Beach. The mountain views and sunshine will have you planning your next vacation before you even leave the valley.

12:30pm: Make easy lunch in your condo and enjoy a little downtime.

2:00pm: Unwind on the couch or enjoy some ZZZs before dinner. Let the kids head down to the complex pool, if your unit has access to one.

3:00pm: If you’re looking for some indulgence, get pampered by the Rocky Mountain Day Spa, located right at the base of the mountain. Services include a full range of massages and spa services.

5:00pm: Head downtown for a night at the Steamboat Springs Rodeo Series. No need to worry about dinner; the BBQ is second to none! Sit back and enjoy one of the most entertaining rodeo shows in Northwest Colorado.

DAY FIVE9:00am: Treat yourself to a Steamboat tradition with Sunday Brunch on the Mountain. Enjoy mimosas, Bloody Marys, and specialty coffee drinks as you choose from a wide selection of seasonal fresh brunch items inspired by Hazie’s award-winning culinary team.

11:00am: Before heading down the Gondola, be sure to take a short hike on the top of the mountain.

2:00pm: It’s time to hit the Yampa River for a little tubing fun! Head downtown to Backdoor Sports just steps from the Yampa River, making it the ideal location to enjoy a favorite local activity.

4:00pm: Stop by E3 Chophouse for a quick happy hour drink and then head back to the condo for a peaceful night in.

1:30pm: Stop into a local favorite and enjoy some food at the Sweet Pea Restaurant. This on-the-river eatery cooks from scratch and uses products from local and regional farms and ranches.

Insider Tip: Be sure to grab seating outside so you can watch the kayakers, tubers and fly fishermen on the Yampa River.

6:00pm: Prepare an amazing dinner in thanks to your fully-equipped kitchen. If your rental has a grill too, throw on some steaks or chicken and create some delicious side dishes inside.

8:00pm: Big meals are sure to put everyone in a cozy state of mind, so cuddle up in your rental’s living room to enjoy your favorite movie together. Make sure you grab some popcorn at the grocery store on your way in!

4:00pm: Before your last vacation dinner, get ready back at your rental, and enjoy some happy hour time on the balcony. Whip up summer cocktails, Shirley Temples and cheese trays, and take in the mountain views.

DAY SIX8:00am: Head downtown for breakfast at Creekside Café & Grill. There is not a better way to start your day than with a wonderful breakfast on a patio surrounded by flowers, listening to Soda Creek bubbling away on a perfect morning.

9:30am: Your last day in Steamboat needs to count so why not head out to Steamboat Zipline Adventures for a few hours of action-packed adventure? Take to the skies and catch views of the Flat Top mountain range and the Yampa Valley.

6:30pm: Make dinner special at Café Diva, located at the base of Steamboat Ski Area and nestled right in the heart of Torian Plum Plaza.

8:30pm: After dinner, head to your vacation rental to enjoy a night around the cozy fireplace reliving your adventures.

8:30am: Once you clear out the kitchen, head downtown for some last-minute shopping or bring the kids to the pool and wear them out before the drive or flight back home.

10:00am: It’s time to clean up, pack up and head out of your rental. Stop by the front desk and let them know how your stay was and then visit TripAdvisor to write a quick review of your experience.
