VTET: VADODRA TRAFFIC EDUCATION TRUST

During 2008, there was a traffic enforcement, due

to lack of facility, so they started recruitment after

creating a community, recruiting traffic brigade,

Baroda needed 550 traffic police, they segregated

it to category A,B and C.

The volunteers were getting Rs.200 per day,

In 2008, there were 539traffic police needed.

To create a force of volunteer to support the traffic police

regulation and enforcement

EDUCATION

To create awareness about traffic rules and regulation

amongst citizens

ENGINEERING

To build a strong traffic engineering system in vadodra

They were helping in Engineering process,

They formed team of members like, Trustee,

Treasurers and Secretaries

They have also formed Sub committiees of higher

authorities for Decision making

RECRUITMENT PROCESS

PROCESS FOR TRAFFIC BREGADES:

oRegistration and issue of tokens,

oPhysical Test, (100mtr running, Height, Weight and Chest)

oOral interview by RTO, Police Dept., and physical instructor,

oMedical Check-up

oIssue of letter for training.

UNIQUENESS IN TRAINING:

othey train them for fire fightings also for First-aid training,

oThey appointed top performer of the training as Supervisor.
