FROM THE EAST

April is upon us and for some of us in the Christan faith, this is the tme of renewal and re-afrmingour vows to our belief in the Supreme Being and to his only begoten son, our Savior. Let me wish you all a safe Lentand that you will fnd solace that Christ gave his life to save his people.

On March 22, 2018 as you may all kno we raised Bro. Roberto Molera, to the Sublime Degree ofMaster Mason. Congratulatons to you Brother Bob on becoming a Master Mason and I wish you the best in yourMasonic journey. The eyes of the Fraternity are now upon you, be just be faithful be true and on becoming a mastermason you have become a beter man.

I guessed from now on we are almost in a good shape in regards to our catch up mode. What I meanhopefully we do not have to wait much longer to schedule our candidates whenever they are qualifed on the nextstep for ceremony of their respectve degrees.

Again, as a member of the Lodge Retenton Commitee, I have worked closely with our WorshipfulBrother Secretary with the goal to do everything possible to retain our members who are in arrear of their dues. I'mhappy to inform you that some of the brethren have updated their status and are now current or remited. As areminder to the brethren who are subject to non-payment of dues suspension, once suspended from any lodge in thisjurisdicton, the suspension applies to all lodges you have afliaton. So please do not ignore the correspondencesfrom our WB Secretary. Keep in mind, the lodge objectve is to retain you as a member; we do not want to lose youthat you may contnue to enjoy the rights and benefts as a Mason.

Finally the Easter falls on Sunday April 1st. I wish you all a Blessed and Happy Easter to you and yourfamily !!!! . .

Fraternally,

Rollie Caabay, Worshipful Master

THE SUN IS IN THE WEST

Brethren, now that I am back from my two weeksof rest and relaxation from the Islands of thePhilippines, I should be able to concentrate onthe upcoming rituals and Lodge activities. I amvery pleased to hear that the SpringbrookMasonic Temple Facility Rental has exponentiallyexploded to the point that the Facility Managerhas to turn down multiple requests. We owe thissudden and pleasant turned of event to our veryown, non-other than WB Keith Wattles. He hasdone such a tremendous job on keeping thefacility in the state of white gloves inspection. Iwas hoping that the deck would have been donebut the weather got in the way. I believe he savejust enough work so I can show my expertise onhow to use power tools.

We are almost done with our 3rdDegree back logged and from what I gathered, the Past Masters will be raising our Brother MattVallerino. After, this, we should be able to startthe conferrals for the Entered Apprentices andFellowcraft.

I am setting up a Day at the Range in YoloSportsman Association towards the end of Apriland I’ll need some volunteers who can make acommitment to set up, cook and clean up. Just tolet you know that the Range Ofcers I’ve invitedto assist us to enjoy the range time and do itsafely volunteered their time for us to have funand feel secure while in the facility. I don’t feelthat it is fair for them to clean up after us oncewe’re done shooting. Once I confrmed the dateand time, I will let you know.

To my brethren who are under the weather, weare praying for you speedy recovery. If youknow of any brother who I need to contact andget an update on their health issues, please giveme a call or text me.Again, thank you for all your support.
