Question: How long before my wed-ding do I need to have Botox injection?Answer: I would say approximately one month before the date. It can take up to

a week before the result is noted. Also, it allows time for extra Botox injection to be given if it is insufficient.

Question: If I have brown patches on my face when do I need to start treat-ment?Answer: About three months before the

special day. The bleaching process takes time. It is also crucial to wear sunscreen even with day to day activities.

Question; I’ve suffered with Acne for years. How do I make sure that my skin looks good on my wedding day?Answer: Avoid over the counter medi-

cations as a way to control your Acne. Consult with a dermatologist at least six months before. You might need antibiotic intervention. It takes several weeks to see a response and antibiotics that are inappropriate will need to be switched. It allows time for chemical peels or microderm-abrasions to be performed to create a more even skin tone. Topical retinoids which play an impor-tant role in management can be irritating to the skin. It takes time for the skin to acclimatize.

Question: How do I select the best sun-screen?Answer: The ideal sunscreen blocks UVA and UVB rays; is waterproof and

non-comedogenic. Some of the newer sunscreens have technology that affords longer vitality. These include Ultra-sheer by Neutrogena and La Roche-Posey.

Classic dorm room love! As students at The Uni-versity of Texas at San Antonio, we found each oth-er amongst the chaos that is college life. We were instantly attracted to each other and were both fell madly in love. Our courting period lasted six years before James popped the question! The proposal was done over a helicopter ride throughout the beautiful down-town San Antonio area. It was a surreal experience that was literally felt amongst the clouds. Our re-lationship had a new-feel to it and we became EX-TREMELY excited to become husband and wife!As a young couple, we decided to take wedding planning into our own hands to cut down on costs, but most importantly design the wedding of our dreams. After much thought it was simple. Why not host our wedding in a location in which we both love? The beach of South Padre Island! It’s go-ing to be a unique summer beach wedding located in the Rio Grande Valley, a place in which we both originate. The date of June 8 designated THE very date we became a couple (June 8, 2006), THE date we got engaged (June 8, 2012) and THE date are to be married!

Fate brought Carmen and Martin together that gorgeous, sun-ny afternoon on July 17, 2011. Little did they both know that they were going to meet their soul-mate on the sands of South Padre Island. A simple conversation about careers sparked an interest in both of them. And so it began; from message to text, from text to phone call, from phone call to a first date to a baseball game that sealed the deal. Countless laughs and great memories were made day after day. Carmen’s birthday came around and Martin planned a sur-prise party at the island. Fireworks lit up the dark sky as all the couples hugged and stared. As Martin held Carmen and stared at the sky he smiled as he knew he would marry this wonder-ful woman one day. A vacation to Hawaii would be a trip to remember. A family day was planned with a soccer game then a “picnic”. The picnic had a slight detour up a mountain at a place called Nu’uanu Pali Lookout. The view was breath taking as it overlooked the city and coast. As they held on to each other and looked out at the view Martin said to Carmen, “I’ve brought the most beautiful girl to the most beautiful place in the world to ask the most beautiful question...” He got down on one knee and pulled out the ring. And so it began that these two love birds would venture out and embark on a journey to their dream wedding and everlasting love.

The tradition of “who pays for what” has changed some-what, especially in today’s modern world of dual income and independent couples who pay for the entire wedding themselves. For those who still consider tradition impor-tant in financing the wedding, you’ll find this outline help-ful in “assigning” expense responsibilities.
