VANCOUVER TRIP PERMISSION FORM

Dear Parent/Guardian,

We are happy that your son/daughter will be joining our English language program at the English Language Centre, University of Victoria (ELC). We look forward to seeing him/her soon.

The ELC offers optional activities on some weekends. Students do not have to join optional activities. For the trip to Vancouver, students who are under 19 years of age must have permission from their parent or

guardian. If you do not give permission, your child will not be able to join the Vancouver trip.

For the Vancouver trip, students will travel by bus and ferry boat to Vancouver to visit various sites, go

shopping and explore the city. Such trips are for either 1 or 2 days. The students are given a general

itinerary schedule that is included with their ticket.

If you agree that your child can join in either the 1 or 2 day Vancouver trips, please fill out and sign this form. Your son/daughter will need to bring this signed waiver form when he/she comes to the University of Victoria.
