Vastu Tips for a West Facing Plot
It is believed that if the floor of the West facing home is higher than the East then the inmates will have wealth and prosperity with no hostility.
West facing plots are good for people in professions like teacher, politicians, corporate business man etc.
It is suggested that less open space be kept at the front of a West facing plot.
The main gate can be in the mid-West or Northern half of the plot.
The front boundary wall of a West facing plot should be higher than the back wall.
Eastern or Northern part of the plot is considered good for water storage, preferably at the back end of the plot.
The master bedroom should be in the South West of the house. Children bedroom can be on theWest portion of the house and guest rooms in the North West.
The kitchen should be on the South East of the house. While cooking the person should face the East.
Puja room should be in the North East of the house. One's face should be towards the East while praying.
While landscaping, tall trees can be there in the front portion of the house and small plants in the backside

We have given some marks to the some directions, first observe the marks for the rooms and their directions and like wise slowly get down and observe the optimization of your house with this marks list, then you can have some idea on your house, that whether your house is according to vaastu shastra or not.
HOW TO ALLOCATE THE MARKS?
Take each chart. You determine the marks of your house based on each point given in the chart frankly and without bias. Put the marks for each and every chart. Then add ala the marks. The total marks decide the FORTUNE of the house! If your present house gets more than 60 marks, then you can continue to stay there. If it is less, you should vacate or change the house immediately. If you have more than 75 marks, it is a very fortunate and a lucky house! You are assured of continued development through the house. So kindly study the tables twice or thrice and understand them well. If you want to shift to another house, then also you should evaluate the marks in the same manner. If you want to purchase a constructeddetermine the mark to the proposed house or flat according to those tables. If the marks are more than 60, then you can purchase it without least hesitation or occupy the house as a tenant. If it is less than 50 marks, you should not purchase or take lease of the house! Ill-luck and troubles are expected from that house!

Suppose if the main door is against a big tree/pole, then 3 marks to be deducted in the total of 80, since it will reduce the luck of the house and so on. The maximum marks awarded is 100. The tables are carefully designed to cover the internal and external factors which decide the FORETUNE of the houses / buildings. You should allocate the marks to your present house, proposed house (or flats) and total the marks that are allotted. Now you can easily determine the fortune of the house by yourselves as follows:

Well/boring or underground Water tank should be in East part North part or north east angle part of the plot, its auspicious for residents of house.Well/Boring or underground tank should not be digging in the north west part(Wayavya angle), South west part (nairatya angle), South east part (agneya angle), South direction and West direction in the plot, because its not good and auspicious for residents.We should take some precautions to dig or made a well/Boring or underground water tank in the plot :1.The well/Boring or underground water tank should be dig or built in north and East or north East part of the plot is good .2. If you dig a well in the north direction than you should dig little bit towards the east direction of the plot.3. The well/boring or water tank should be in North east direction of plot.4. When well/boring or water tank dug up in the North west and South east angle, then residents suffer from illness, poverty, tension and enemies.5.
