the world.• It is on the big island of Hawaii.• The most recent explosion was March
24th to April 15th 1984.• The Hawaiian name for Mauna Loa
means “Long Mountain”.• It has erupted 33 times.
MMσυηт συηт AAѕσѕσ• Mount Aso is the largest active
volcano in Japan.• It is in Japan, ( 日本 ) on the island of
Kyūshū.• Its peak is 1592 m above sea level.• Mount Aso is in the middle of Kyushu.
• It last erupted in 2004.• Scientists believe that a pyroclastic
flow covered half of Kyūshū.
MMσυηт συηт EE∂zιzα∂zιzα• It is Canada's highest volcano.• Its peak is 2,787 m above sea level.• In Canada, there is eleven volcanoes
including Mount Edziza.• Mount Edziza last erupted in November
2000.
