QUOTES

While going through the articles by various authors, it was observed that some of Srila Prabhupada’s quotes were quoted partially which might hinder a wholesome understanding of the issue. Therefore the need was felt to present the full relevant passages of Srila Prabhupada’s words from his books, lectures, letters and conversations. Srila Prabhupada’s quotes are tagged based on whether the quote is from Srila Prabhupada’s books, lectures, letters and conversations and these quotes are chronologically arranged.

Also quotes from scriptures and acaryas are also presented. Quotes are classified under 4 categories:

1. Srila Prabhupada Quotes

2. Gaudiya Acharyas Quotes

3. Shastric statements

4. Other Vaishnava Sampradayas Quotes

AUTHOR PROFILES

A brief biodata of authors is available here. However we have not been able to obtain all the author profiles. So only some of the profiles are uploaded.

COMPILATIONS

More than 1000 pages of literary material have been generated by more than 30 authors on the VDG issue. All this is spread across 30 articles/ books/ papers/ comments etc. scattered all over the web and even outside which make it difficult to make a comprehensive study of the issue. Recognizing this all 30 articles by different authors were first collected. 6 main themes of discussion in these articles along with the issues within them were identified as a next step. These articles were then broken down into smaller sections which correspond to these themes & issues, to make ‘Compilations’ of these articles.

A Compilation is a section of an article that presents a unique argument on a particular Theme & Issue.

Each Compilation contains the following info:

• Comments: Devotees can comment on any Compilation and thus start a discussion to which other devotees can respond or comment.

DISCLAIMER

Please note that the categorization and organization of articles into compilations is for the convenience of the readers by helping them to navigate faster to what they want to read. However, if the readers feel that this way of categorization and organization of data leads to discontinuity or loss of information, they can choose to read the Full Articles by various authors which are also provided under the ‘Full Articles’ Tab.
